Just kidding, Cadiva XXX
I thought it was pretty good but I'm disappointed that we won't see any more training sessions with Hodge...
I guess that was one of the reasons why it didn't impress me as much.
I do think the acting has got much better.”

Hey I never said big cliffhanger just that I suspected what they were going to do with Jace!
I suspect that as a book reader it was a bigger deal for me seeing it on screen because I loved the finale. Just enough of a cliffhanger to make you want it to carry on so you find out more.
I'm also glad that they're pulling in stories from the first three books in the series rather than doing it book by book because it means the pacing has been so much better.

I was pleased that Alec remained focussed and wasn't drawn into Camille's games. He trusts Magnus.
I don't think they are having doubts about how they feel. They are simply considering the implications of their being together, in particular Alec because it's new to him of course. The immortal-mortal issue is something that will need to be thought through for a long-term relationship, something that I imagine most of us here have never needed to worry about.”

Aye no need to worry about Alec and Magnus, the show has done a lot to let the viewer know this is true love. Alec is just realising the implications of their relationship and Magnus is letting him know that no-one, no matter how powerful, knows their fate.
Finally though we got scary Valentine as well as charismatic and compelling Valentine. They're really going to have to work more with him in Season Two though to make it clear just how dangerous he is. I was really pleased to see they did keep his ship full of dodgy created Shadowhunters from the books though.
Looking forward to giving the show another rewatch now all 13 episodes are out. Its improved immeasurably since the first few episodes.

I'm teasing ya
