I just think that the whole thing felt scripted, false and unreal, all of a sudden David takes to his bed and covers himself up completely, then Angie, who had accepted the news, had a grizzle , and then move on, suddenly seemed to lose it and start telling Tiff that 'David is dead' Tiff doesnt even bother to ask what she meant and which David, then conveniently David is tucked away, covered up, so that she doesnt know where he is. The others then go into the bedroom to find the 'body ' covered up and then pretend that they think he has passed away.

As judge Judy says' if it doesnt make sense then it is probably a lie, for everything to be set up like that the right people in the right places , I really do feel that the house, that is almost full of actors and reality tv stars, acted it out to a script.

Then for them all to turn on Tff so nastily, that made no sense either, she mad a mistake, why did they all suddenly want her gone??

It all felt so false and not a lot of it made any sense.

I think there was a lot of very selective editing to maximise the story line.
There had to be some explanation for the whole house turning on Tiffany , but I suspect a chunk of events were edited out!

Also if it was scripted and planned then I think it is awful to use the name of David Bowie as part of the act.

I just can't trust c5 with BB any more, what is real and what is scripted...................

It was well edited but those were genuine emotions from Angie & Tiffany, neither of whom is an actress.

The turning on just made no sense, the way that Kristina as acting, you would think that she had physically attacked one of them.

Isnt Tiff a reality star though? and Angie is very kooky and could pull it off, that convo felt false to me, Tiffs reaction especially and the way that Angie suddenly burst out and didn't say' my ex David ' or say, not our David.

When Angie left the Diary room.. David had just left.... so did he hop into bed right away and hide under the covers... what is going on... and are we being duped.

Yep, the whole scenario is just too convenient.

He was under the covers when Darren went to check and that wasn't long after Tiffany had burst into the garden with the "news".

The editing was brilliant and, as we know from the past, segments are sometimes shown out of sequence.

I strongly believe that there were events that were interpreted by housemates that appeared threatening. Whilst John and a few others are drama queens, others like Darren are fairly grounded. There must have been more to elicit the "scared" comment.

David was feeling unwell and may well have been called from his bed when Angie wanted those she felt closest to with her in the diary room after she heard the news. If that were the case then it would be perfectly natural for David to go straight back to bed.

Maybe it's screeching women that made him feel ill in the first place.

There was obviously a huge gap inbetween Angie coming out of the diary room and David Gest being "dead"

I know what you mean. It did seem to good to be true. Which is why I think this is a case of fact being stranger than fiction. It is too good to have been written or orchestrated by the BB team - we never saw them get even close to this calibre before. Too many people would have needed to be complicit. And to get farce of that quality would take hours of rehersal from really good actors.

Every performance was spot on with timing and expression and the script (had it been a script) was Oscar worthy. When ever we have seen tasks where CBB HMs are asked to perform a scripted piece they are pretty wooden and the dramatic result pretty lame.

Given that it related to the actual death of someone, and moreover the death of someone extremely well known that most if not all viewers would recognise, I am not sure it was in good taste to portray the incident, real or otherwise. Though not normally a fan of the concealment of significant house events, I'd have been inclined to edit it out, or perhaps wait till it blew over and then make a passing reference on social media and/or a later show.

I agree! David would have got up surely, or at least shown his face? He was probably laughing too much!

As I said on the other thread pushing the conspiracy theory approach: Just try to apply some critical thinking to the situation.

Ask the hows, asks the whys, see if it still holds water.

The suggestion, when broken down, is that this occured:

David Bowie died. Around two hours later his ex wife is called into the diary and informed of his passing... David and John are asked to come and sit with her... Then Big Brother tells them they've decided to play a joke on Tiffany... They want Bowies ex wife and mother of his child to tell her that David has died but not mention the surname so that Tiffany thinks its David Guest. Meanwhile they would like David Guest to lie on the bed with a sheet over his face and they would like John to go and have a shower whilst all this happens....
and all three of them agree to do exactly that.

Come on!!!

I agree that it wasn't scripted.

My thought while watching it was that BB should have intervened as soon as it was clear that Tiff thought David Gest was dead.

It was very irresponsible of BB to allow such a painful and distressing misunderstanding to continue.
