After last night's cbb I don't know if I will be watching it again? I tuned into it at the launch and had been quite enjoying it up until last night and quite frankly I found the whole thing disgusting disrespectful to David Bowie. If bb had have had anything about them when Angie told Tiffany thebad news and she thought it was housemate david that had died and not David Bowie bb should have intervened and called Tiffany into the diary room instead of it turning into a farce. Big brother could have then informed Tiffany that it was David Bowie who had died and not fellow housemate David.

I think that Tiffany , once it had become clear that David Gest had not in fact died, assumed the whole thing to have been set up by Angie( and possibly BB) to create a bit of drama ,and acted as she did in calling Angie an old bitch and making as if to attack her when she left the diary room because she thought that was what was expected of her in the scenario that had been created.

Yes I think you may be right, she went into reality mode( isnt she a star of one of those awful programmes?) so it was natural to her to make the most of a freaky situation. whatever happened, it was all very false and put on.

It definitely wasn't scripted BB would've seen the events which had already occurred so they were pointing out to us that David Guest was in the bed as they knew what was coming .
It's a coincidence Guest happened to be sick. And then the Angie telling Tiffany happened.
Maybe Tiffany thought David Guest had cancer but she didn't know about it.
The other housemates made the same mistake when Tiffany was saying David died.
They all said "David David" not one of them thought David Bowie.
Maybe BB hadn't realised Tiffany thought Guest until she told the other housemates and by that point it was too late.

It was Angie's choice whether to stay or go, which was fair enough. What was ridiculous is that BB didn't then just either tell the others via the PA system ("Housemates, this is Big Brother...") or have John and David gather the other HMs and tell them, either with Angie remaining in the Diary Room while the deed was done, or being present (with that decision being left to her).

This. Plus the fact the imbeciles in the house gave the producers an awful lot to work with.

I agree with this. Obviously Tiffany's error was a genuine one but what I don't understand is why she went ballistic and all the other housemates turned on her. Some part of the action was definitely missing.

As judge Judy says' if it doesnt make sense then it is probably a lie, for everything to be set up like that the right people in the right places , I really do feel that the house, that is almost full of actors and reality tv stars, acted it out to a script.

Then for them all to turn on Tff so nastily, that made no sense either, she mad a mistake, why did they all suddenly want her gone??

It all felt so false and not a lot of it made any sense.”

Totally correct.

As it looked so false and contrived, I can't understand how some think it was so hilarious.

Just silly and unconvincing is more like it.

Most of the people they cast in this show know why they're there and what's expected of them.

There doesn't have to be some great conspiracy involving BB actually directing them and feeding them lines for events to come off less than authentic, spontaneous and genuine.

To answer the question, I think some viewers are quite naive and too trusting. I found last night's episode extremely lame.

I felt distinctly uncomfortable watching this unfold. The more farcical it became, the worse I felt. Someone should have clarified the whole situation much earlier than they did, and FHS why did Angie select Tiffany to tell her big news to?? Of any of them she has the least sense and the loudest gob! Could she not have told another HM if she had to tell anyone??

IMHO - it was a set up, contrived, falsified, acted, scripted - call it what you like, BUT I found the whole episode so ridiculous that BB did not intervene. The fact that they didn't just proves that. I can't believe that any one would behave the way Tiffany did without it being acted and scripted.

It's just really bad editing. This is the worse I've seen. Obviously cuts have been made and they are struggling with the turnaround time.
