Celebrity Big Brother 2016: Jonathan Cheban calls out 'arrogant' and 'controlling' John Partridge: 'I didn't like his energy'

The former housemate takes swipe at the ex-EastEnders actor and says viewers will see his 'cocky' side

JONATHAN Cheban has admitted he wasn't a fan of housemate John Partridge, calling him "arrogant".
The US reality TV star, who walked out of the house on Monday, confessed he "didn't like his energy" and thought he was "too much".

Speaking to OK! Online, Jonathan revealed on leaving the show he'd seen how "controlling" the former EastEnders star was, and believed viewers would soon see it too.
Asked who he didn't like in the house, he explained: "To be honest I didn't love John Partridge.

"I think that he's a little too cocky and arrogant and I think it's gonna come out in the next couple of days."
Kim Kardashian's BFF added: "I already saw a couple of live feeds on my TV the other night, him demanding everyone go to bed at a certain time and to be honest it's not his house or his show, you know? He's not the star of that show."

Jonathan revealed he felt bad for leaving his fellow housemates because of John, explaining he was being "controlling" over the Tiffany Pollard situation.
Tiffany misunderstood Angie Bowie's news that David Bowie had passed away, believing she meant David Gest, leading to a huge row.
But Jonathan seemed to take a swipe at John when asked if the actor was playing up to the cameras, telling us: "I've never heard of him or know him. The whole thing was just too much."
"He was wearing women's gowns and women's hats, and he's walking around and being very pompous and righteous and I just didn't like his energy."

Get Fartridge OUT!!!

It was his idea that Angie might want to keep the news from the other housemates (he suggested it, she agreed like a sheep) that caused the ruckus in the first place.
It was obvious having their little secret to why Angie was upset would backfire... and when it did he led the mob against Tiffany instead of taking any of the blame for the farcical situation.

What a plonker

I agree he is controlling , he is strutting about that house feeling very superior. I was astonished by his actions last night . Not so long ago we had Winston causing outrage with his comments and John said nothing...not a word..in fact John went out his way to let Winston know that John, not the others was the only Hm who was willing to return Winston's suitcase.
Then we have Tiff/Angie misunderstanding and John decides on behalf of the house that Tiff should leave...he even follows her to the washroom to tell her...then when Tiff was going to address the issue with the Hms ...John lying back , feet up on the settee decided NO...she is not allowed and he doesn't want to listen to anything she has to say...and tells Chris not to be her bitch!!...was it not John who Winston approached to have him arrange a meeting with the Hms to address the issues from the task ....John was very accommodating .

Johnny Chib has his number.
I wish he had stayed so he could expose the 'for the cameras nice guy' for the real nasty vicious person we've seen he is on his many BOTS appearances.

Partridge needs to bugger off back to his pear tree!

His whole dance with Winston was to try and present himself (again for the cameras/our benefit) as the bigger person in the face of the nasty bigot.
The guy's a fraud!!

Thats as maybe Ultros. JP didn't cover himself in glory I agree.

But I find it hard to respect a man who calls out another from the safety of distance. To throw down the gauntlet now he is out just adds to the pathos of a man (and I use the term biologically) who did a runner when the going got tough.

Also can someone remind me of Jonathon's comedy. He keeps referring to doing his comedy. I must have missed that.

I don't like Gemma Collins but she was the only one who gave him any relevance in the house.

He can dissapear back to obscurity but I suspect he will milk his five minutes in the uk.

Maybe there is an Arabic celebrity big brother he can go as he claims he is popular there

Agree Sun. I also noticed that Jonathan seemed to be very much for the Americans in the show. I mean his best mate in there is Gemma, yet he wants Tiffany to win. Some mate he is. He reminds me of a fair-weather friend.

His main contribution was taking the pee out of Gemma which was probably to give her airtime when she was vertical. Talking of which his only real comment about his new BFF last night (apart from dismissing an introduction to the Kardashians) was to say she needed to get out of bed more.

Gemma herself & the producers pushed the notion that they were best friends as they always want a 'bro-mance' or an unlikely friendship to fill the narrative.
Jonathan himself didn't seem so keen or follow the script saying she did nothing & slept all day, and when asked if he was going to take her to LA to meet Kim said 'no comment'.

He gave Tiffany not his 'supposed BFF' Gemma immunity from eviction, which is totally consistent with what he said on BOTS about wanting Tiffany to win.

He basically exposed the producer's (and the canny Gemma's) forced 'Gemma & Jonathan the unlikely BFFs' storyline as a load of contrived rhubarb lol
