The swing key-pad thing really put me off. seems kinda flimsy. saying that my D500 isn't much sturdier feeling.

Just got this phone - love it to bits, although the manual is a bit cack, trying to workout if there's a mic in the keypad as well as the front of the phone! It doesn't tell you in the manual if the keypad should be open or closed for calls!!!
SE phones rawk, had a T610, Z600 and now a very VERY proud owner of s700i. |

Agree about the manual, it doesn't mention many features. I couldn't find anything about speakerphone (I might have missed it admitedly) but it does have one.
It is a super phone....you don't really use the swing mechanism that much...only really for texts and calling numbers not in your phone book, but anyway it doesn't feel that flimsy to me. |

How do you get the handsfree to work? So far the only way I've managed is with the radio.

I have the phone and its the best i have had! I like Sony Ericssons anyways but this is the best of the bunch. The phone is very strong and durable and i particularly like the "unscratchable" screen!! i like that very much!

Love it
Well i have had the phone for 3 weeks and i love it my only gripes are the fact you cant change the message alerts and the battery life on my phone seems to need charging every couple of days has anyone else had this problem
I have a dongle for the downloads but do find that it is temperamental!! |
