“When she tried to reconcile with housemates and re-enter the house, John made a comment which appeared to be based on a racist stereotype during a conversation with Christopher Maloney.

John said: ‘[Tiffany] only wants to come to talk to us now cos she’s hungry and wants some chicken.’”

In America it would be racist. That whole chicken thing hasn't made it over here yet.

Neither have I. Where are the 'celebrities' in this. Not even 'Z list' as far as I can see.

Should we contact Trades Description.

Oh that Partridge Family. Nothing but a bunch of buss riding hooligans and racists. Don't even get me started on Danny.

Seeing as chicken was actually on the menu, there's really nothing to see here.

I dont watch big brother so dont know much about this incident, however....

Never heard of someone eating chicken being used as a racist insult.

was chicken the "meal of the day" that particular day?, if so even if eating chicken is somehow "racist", then how on earth can anyone know it was racist?

I think what has really happened some over sensitive liberal professionally offended white folk have got themselves wet at the thought of some race card waving, and made an arse of themselves.

In America racists laugh at black people for their perceived fondness of certain foods - chicken, water melon, grape juice etc.

I would find it amusing if someone said "go and eat some fish and chips white boy". But I would still cause a scene.

That's right....what self-respecting white person would be caught eating chicken?

It's a crock of sh*t....people finding trouble where there is none.

i love chicken, i eat it almost every day, id eat it for breakfast if i could get away with it.

People (my girlfriend especially) always joke about it, not sure if that makes them racist, or do i need to be Black?

Sounds like people desperate to be offended.

Racialism at its finest.

Big Brother viewers have always been reactionary and hysterical to things like this.

Last night's Big Brother was one of the funniest things I've seen on TV in a very long time. The housemates pulling the covers off David Gest to check if he was alive or dead was bloody hilarious. I was still laughing about it when I woke up this morning. I really can't believe that after everything that happened in that entire episode the thing that people have taken offence to is John saying Tiffany wanted chicken! Ridiculous! And I say that as someone who cannot stand John!

I remember David Gest from the days before I gave up on RTV forums (and shows)

the thing that's coming to mind is 'one legged prostitute'...........
