To be fair to Ang she was a celebrity back in the day whether it was to do with being Bowies wife or not.
She actually helped him on his way to stardom....He would have got there eventually regardless but she was instrumental in pushing him at the beginning.

She marketed the stage name Bowie, she almost moulded him.. then sadly she was shafted

This. Don't forget Bowie is the performing name of David and Angie and while he was of course the musician the was as much h part of the brand as he was.
