I wish someone would say to John, "If I want your advice I'll ask for it"

... "and until then, **** off and mind your own business"

Darren especially should have said it, instead of all that "I love you" bull

John is being allowed to dress his spitefulness up as 'caring' and it's time someone called him on it

That or "why are you talking down to me in a condescending manner for? You are not better than me. We are both on equal footing."

Was Angie being sarcastic when she said "spoken just like a friend" ?

I'd say she was being truthful.
John was patting her hand in a there, there way in the diary room.
John was exuding a load of brotherly love with darren from day one.
I can see why she said what she did.

His smug face is too much for me to cope with.

Mr Smug really has taken the role of master of the house to another level now.

Has no one told this egotistical prat that nominations are not trying to kick people out of the house for self help reasons.

Jeez, who does he think he is.

Nah, don't like him, he is a condescending creep.

Gemma does that rubbish with "looking out for people" with unwanted advice. I think it's always an ego thing with older housemates that they try to assert their power this way.

I would love it if someone, especially Darren, said this to him, but Darren's confidence is very fragile and John knows it. As much as I deplore BB's tactic of relaying positive or negative social-media comments into the house, a part of me wishes they would let Darren hear enough encouraging feedback to give him the confidence to stand up to John. John is a bug BB fan and he thinks he's got it sussed. I very much hope to see him proved badly wrong.

Re Angie's comment, I think she was genuinely (though mistakenly) saying that John was being a good friend to Darren.

There shouldnt be any social media comments in the house though.
Not all bb fans go onto social media anyway.
Im pretty sure the non social media fans will give a true opinion of the show based on the main show at 9.
Wont they BB?

Darren is becoming a favourite of mine.
I never gave the guy much thought but he is a good bloke so far.

I've not liked John since he was a judge on the programme that Stephanie was a contestant in. She was in the one where they were looking for Dorothy but I can't remember if he judged in others. I didn't like him at all. Always seems just a bit too pleased with himself.

I haven't watched much of this year's CBB, but what I have seen has just served to confirm my view. I turned the TV off halfway through Tuesday's episode because I was bewildered by the let's get Tiffany out rally he was stirring up. Since I missed the second half of the show, I watched tonight as I felt sure he would be punished for trying to influence votes. But, unless that happened on Tuesday night, after I switched off, I guess they didn't bother.
