Hi all,

I have recently started a music blog and would love for some of you to have a quick read if you ever have a free moment. I would also welcome feedback as it's my first ever blog.

Thank you!

You claim to have a love of music, yet your blog screams pretty much the opposite. There is absolutely nothing personal about music to you, your 'albums i'm looking forward to in 2016' just feels like a list of big releases - where is something outside the box? There is very little passion in your writes up (although it is well written). It all feels a bit like the gossip/entertainment section of the red top rags. Your fav songs of 2007 are just a bunch of charts hits, no hidden gems, no album tracks..........again it's all a bit bland.

^Agree with this comment. It's all mainstream, so you're not getting me as a follower.

I need to update my blog actually, got lots of new videos to share, have a look to compare: www.sicilianhungary.tumblr.com

A tip for you. If you focus your blog on new, original bands (signed or unsigned) and offer unbiased reviews, you'll get them sending you their albums for free.

You get legit, free music. Bands get a bit more publicity. Win - Win

Thanks for the tips. As I said, I'm new to this and obviously I've been influence by a lot of the websites I read. I'll take your tips into consideration. Cheers.

I enjoyed the write up on 2007 and Phoebe's songs

Don't listen to the Debbie Downers, your blog is great! "Mainstream"? Tinashe and Frank Ocean don't exactly count as mainstream. And yall say "mainstream" as if it's a crime, there's nothing wrong with it. I swear, you're not allowed to like anything other than quite frankly terrible indie rock music on this forum without being berated!
