Was this before or after it started? As surely if it was before and they also spoke to Sam there's no way Steph wouldn't know that. Which makes her actions make more sense. I don't believe she is stupid enough to think going straight from whiny diary room rant to into bed with Jeremy wouldn't look bad so yes to me it seems clearly all planned.
