It's hard seeing some people eat cakes , crisps, fish and chips etc and stay skinny

I agree that no one has to be obese - it is harder tfor some than others though - for sure

I agree totally disgusting.

Wow! Actually did you know that being uncaring and arrogant can knock years of your life? All that stress of being judgmental and there you were thinking you were looking after yourself.

Ha! I've seen it all now. Go into any hospital and you will find overweight nurses, doctors and other workers. Most workplaces have some overweight staff, and they work hard and they pay tax. Shock horror many overweight people lead perfectly normal lives they have just decided that actually they are happy the way the are and have decided to get off the daily grind of counting calories, points or whatever the trend of the day is, and to just get on with the business of being happy with their lives and their bodies.

Exactly. Some people love food some don't. If losing weight was as easy as some would have us believe then we would all be thin.

No it isn't. There is plenty of scientific proof. There is also plenty of proof that psychological issues play a big part in weight gain.

I've been fat

Then lost 4 1/2 stone

Then relaxed a bit and put it all back on!

Then had to lose It again

So now I have to be really disciplined because I don't want it to go back on for fear of being judged greedy or lazy by people like some on this forum

do what suits you
take no notice of what's said on here
there's many reasons for weight gain ,
good you know how to control it and have that discipline

I think Gemma is lazy, she moaned about doing the task, saw it as WORK , then went and layed back in bed,and Johnathan said she spent a lot of time laying in bed doing nothing.

There is no need to justify yourself to idiots who just want an excuse to make ignorant remarks

I'm no fan of Gemma but why bring up her size? Wasn't "hypocrite" enough? Well, obviously it wasn't hence the lifesaving need to put "fat" in the thread's title. So boring, really.

Well, clearly she's fat. We can see that with our own eyes.

I'm not sure if she's a hypocrite. She is a sh*t stirrer and meddler though.

Speaking of Gemma, I don't know why she was whinging about the task for. If she's seen the show before, surely she'll know what goes on?

While I don't agree with the way Gemma acted, and I do agree that she's hypocritical, the way people on this thread are taking about Gemma and her size is quite disgusting .

I agree- just no need

Gemma really does need to lose weight, I say that as someone who would know as I was 23st and now 13st.

LMAO. You're a liar. My guess is you're a 20 stone keyboard warrior projecting your self-loathing through this forum.

For the record also, there is plenty of evidence showing a lot of people who are 'slim' can carry a lot of internal fat, which is exceptionally unhealthy. Whereas some overweight people are far far healthier, carrying their fat externally.

People can be addicted to one thing and only one thing . Examples that spring to mind are - gambling , alcohol , painkillers

I'm skinny and have always been but I do a lot of sport too which allows me to eat what I want. By that I don't mean takeaways everyday. I eat relatively healthy foods in large quantities and if I fancy a takeaway I can just have it without worrying too much.

Being slim is simple if we are simply talking about people without any psychological issues. Expand more calories than you consume. If you hate exercise and are lazy then eat very less but for me that seems the more difficult option than just doing a little exercise now and again and getting to eat slightly more.

Totally agree. The Africa comment was just illogical and silly. Criticise Gemma for her behaviour if you must, but leave her appearance out of it, or else you make yourself look malicious and as if you've not grown up much since primary school.

Psychological comforting eating maybe, I've heard this a lot from some of the whales I've harpooned during pillow talk, but even that sounds like a get out for being greedy.”

Reasoning isn't your strong point, I would guess.

would same apply to say Megan was very very slim, but use the word skinny ?
it works both ways
it seems to get people far angrier when anyone refers to someone being 'fat'

Gemma's comfortable in her own skin it looks to me, she has a large frame, perhaps it's metabolism, but when you see her lying down constantly, and moanging about having to do the task as she loafs on her bed not wanting to move, she brings it on herself. Even Jonathan said that he had trouble getting her out of bed as that's all she wanted to do was lay down in bed all the time.

Gemma was given a huge opportunity to lose weight when sent into I'm a Celeb but that was too much hard work for her too, she moaned constantly and walked after 3 days , activity seems to be an 'effort' for her, so she really does not help herself, so it will bring criticism in CBB again all the lazy loathing about.
