He's very entertaining to watch. He's so melodramatic, but not in a shouty Megan sort of way. He's melodramatic in a more understated sort of way. He thinks he lives in a soap for real.

I don't mean to sound rude but you will only get a full picture by watching all episodes yourself rather than asking for other people' comments. We all see things differently
If you really have only watched one episode you have missed a lot of episodes when he seemed to appoint himself house spokesperson and came across as a sanctimonious git.
For what it's worth I cannot stand the man and actually agreed with a lot of Megan's rantings though not the way she said them.
He's confident, articulate, intelligent, patronising and arrogant.
That's just how he is - I didn't really expect anything else. I like him because he also has warmth and humour.
He does appear to look down on some of them - he's not a good enough actor to hide that - why should he? he's being himself.
There are some thick, rude, aggressive and obnoxious individuals - it must be incredibly hard (unless you're incredibly two faced) not to patronise and look down on them.
I wouldn't like to be living with a bunch of thickos who's only talent appears to be shagging and getting drunk on TV. It must wear thin after a day or two.

Some of them do deserve to be looked down on. I wonder if part of Megan's rant was the look he was giving her when she was hammering on the DR door like a petulant child because "she was hungry"

There are a lot (the majority) on here who won't like it but he will treat them with the disdain that they fully deserve.
When they went in they look to him to take control, to lead them - they've now found their feet and don't like the 'dad' figure.

Personally I'm enjoying watching him - we will see a panto villain extraordinaire emerge - and it'll be done in the best possible taste. He will not need to resort to alcohol fueled, childish and aggressive rants - he's in a class of his own. I know it wont go down well on here but personally I can't wait.
He started off as my favourite, however his patronising comments towards Megan and Darren have put me right off

I think he would have continued to try and keep the housemates against Tiffany if she hadn't have made up with Angie. He probably only gave up on his 'mission' when Tiffany was 'accepted' again.

It was sneaky, by doing it to his face he thought he would come over to the public all caring and honest, but the great unwashed are not as stupid as he thinks.

Given that it was her continued ranting at Angie even when the mistake was explained that seemed to anger the HMs why shouldn't things change once she saw sense and apologised. It was a highly emotive few hours not helped by Tiffany's quite unreasonable behaviour towards a HM who had just received some distressing news.

I wouldn't say Tiffany is nasty - she's defensive and has no problem standing up for herself when being attacked...which seems to be constantly.
What I find unnerving is his super intense serial killer stare. I'm amazed none of the HMs have mentioned it.

I've only seen it a few times, but he definitely scream 'banker' to me when I've seen him. Very passive aggressive.
