I just LOVE Rylan on BOTS

Sometimes after David-gate or tonight's histrionics, I feel compelled to watch BOTS for a follow-up and regret it almost instantly. With Rylan as presenter, it's no longer about the housemates or daily action - it's all about indulging his ego. His stupid sketches, reiterating how likeable he is (because you know - on x factor for a few weeks, he was really, REALLY disliked - and look how likeable he is now - look!), how much the guests can fawn over him. It's literally abysmal to watch these grown adult suck ass guests bowing down to this talentless non-entity in the hope of coming back for another quick BOTS buck.

He's rotters enough but his overgrown ginger beard looked especially shoddy tonight against his dyed black hair. Letting yourself go now you're married Rylan babes?

He's a bit of a cringe-fest in my opinion. What is it with the attempted "erotic" dancing he does and when he whips out the mic and does an awful rap?

I think he's good when he goes into character like his Judge Rylan though.

Rylan always makes me laugh and BBBOTS is never boring when he presents.
You can't have someone too serious on bbboots
I voted for him on NTAs this year even thought Ant and Dec are likely to get it.

Why was he coming down the stairs slut dropping and humping the rail talk about embarrassing 😲😳”

Now Rylan

No one is ever happy with the presenters and everyone always calling for a new presenter

Its not the presenter you hate its the format and the production

Presenters do as they're told

Its been 16 years and not once have people been satisfied.

I give up

Rylan is brilliant”

Hard to disagree.

I think he is alright, I don't like all the sillyness I think that goes too far but he is fair in his questioning and gives everyone a fair go. I also liked Dermot, Russell, Davina and Emma as presenters. I give him a 7 out of 10.

I keep changing my mind on him, sometimes he really shines but when he goes into mega camp mode it just spoils it for me.

I agree with the OP - he suits this presenting job perfectly - he's light hearted, funny, serious when needed (he and Emma both did a stirling job on interviewing Winston for example) and I think he's hilarious.

I hate the mumbling camp/essex voice he uses when opening the show and when he gets excited - he always prances down the stairs, then says something in an understandable voice .... then he always blurts something along the lines of "ladies and gentleman welcome to big brothers bit on the side"
in the most annoying tone that kind of reminds me of the old budweiser "Whassssssuuuuup" commercials!

....Just me then? lol

I think he's doing a great job.
I couldn't stand him from the moment he auditioned on X Factor. I wasn't overly keen on him when he appeared on CBB but as a presenter for a late night light entertainment show I think he's become a natural and fits the theme of the show and what it's about perfectly.

I actually agreed with this 100% up until a few series ago, he seemed to start of fitting the role perfectly, but then it seemed to go to his head and now ..... (I'm going to get lynched)
but BBOTS feels to me like one big, gay, 'in joke' with homosexual references and innuendos throughout, a disproportional representation of the LGBT community in the audience (don't they have an audience solely of drag queens once a series? )

Of coursing making this observation makes me homophobic I'm guessing. But I'm very much a live and let live kind of guy. Its not really my cup of tea and sitting through the frolicking to hear about the show can be tedious at times.

I agree, why does he do it? Sick bag at the ready, you would think someone would tell him how badly it comes across
