If Megan is bipolar and on meds the responsibility not to drink booze is solely hers. In fact it makes what she did even worse as she drank knowing this could happen and decided to expose the HMs to it anyway.
Darren and Daniella are recovering addicts and yet they can say no to the booze sent in.

She was probably given a dose of stresnil.

I am not an expert but I don't think that is how bi polar manifests itself.

I also don't think the drugs typically used to treat it are like fast acting bullets but more the type that are taken over weeks if not months before a balance is achieved.

BB will get away with their borderline criminal behaviour surrounding health and safety on the show once again.

Yes, acting up isn't inherently a result of the condition, that's true. She's still an immature brat. But a combination of hunger and pain can certainly make the situation worse--and it was totally unnecessary. Dislike her if you will--she likely deserves it. But this is not an all or nothing situation. She can be an annoying brat and a victim of the sloppy way this show is run, both at the same time.”

They didn't deny her food. They denied her the food she found acceptable. But for one day Spam, potatoes and lentil soup provide adequet nutrition. I can't be sure of the gluten content although I would think the potatoes are gluten free.

That was my understanding of it too. Mind you she could have done with a quick shot of valium to calm the hysterics she worked herself up into. I hope this is worth the money to her because no decent man would want a life with anyone like that and God forbid she ever has children and behaves that way around them.
Purple.

As an aside, bi-polar medications and alcohol do not mix but it would seem to be an 'armchair diagnosis' in this instance.”

I'm on four different medications for bipolar, and alcohol doesn't make me act anything like that. Thank goodness.

Or an anesthetic dart. I think drugging her to make her docile would be rather unethical though. Tempting but ultimately unethical.

So the rumour that security have been issued with tranquilliser rifles must just be a rumour then

Expect they toldher if she was chucked out they would not pay her, that would "medicate" anyone in there.

Yes - it was taser guns followed by a frontal lobotomy. When she came out of the DR it was like the secene from One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.

She's an aggressive drunk, not a victim of a medical condition.

That wont matter to big chief Scotty.
Actually that parallel is really apt here, I've said it before about these harpies that sell their tantrums, the day will come when they find they cant stop doing it, it will no longer be an act for the cameras. If you act it often enough it becomes part of you.

She's nowt more than a spoiled brat with a huge sense of entitlement. I wish people would stop trying to diagnose her with something or other. A c*** is just a c***

It's been building for days. She has a rant the other day about feeling left out, in that nobody was listening to her whinge which wasn't fair because they were listening to others and their hard luck stories but nobody asked her about hers. Well boo hoo.

I think we should all cut Megan some slack TBH.

She is quite clearly still traumatised by the fact that her grandad died while she was shagging on TV.

Of course she wasn't given medication. They can't just throw prescription drugs around like sweets.
Do you think the bouncers had a pocket full of temazapam like? That would be commercial suicide.
She got told that the act was getting old and she was overplaying the part. Calm down and stopped being an a-hole.

I am still trying to fathom her relationship with Stephanie. Supposedly best mates she is always very quick to dump on her. I am guessing that while there is a degree of symbiosis created by their ages etc, in reality she is concerned that her fauxmance isn't getting the attention or airtime it deserves while there is another potential couple.

edit to add:

I do sometimes think Scotty's words of wisdom for Jeremy are said for exactly the same reason.

Yes you are right. My friends mother has bipolar, the only time she can be very argumentative is if she doesn't take her meds. I doubt BB would allow that to happen, I would have thought all medication would be given to a doctor to keep it safe.
Not that I believe Megan has any thing wrong with her apart from spoilt brat syndrome.
