CBB's Jeremy McConnell is a FAKE as Mr Ireland lie is exposed by organisers http://www.irishmirror.ie/showbiz/ce...ake-mr-7185516 …

Marc from last years Civilian BB is more of a Zeleb ...and that's saying a lot.
Also from tellymix: http://www.tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv...fame-fake.html

Surely they would have checked on this, how did they find out about him otherwise? So in actual fact he is actually a nobody. Are you telling me they couldn't find any other z listers other than this lying little toad!?

Well I'm Irish and like my celebrity trash but even I had never heard of Jeremy before

Didn't some similar happen with that Irish businesswoman who appeared on CBB a few series ago?

She had actually been on Irish TV - though no-one in th UK could possibly have heard of her- Jeremy is unknown, even to Irish audiences!

Even Georgia Salpa who was a complete unknown in the UK, was a fairly famous Irish model when she appeared on CBB.
And as previously mentioned in this thread, Marc from last year's civilian BB has more claim to celebrity than Jeremy as at least he appeared on an Irish reality show for a while before doing BB.
This Jeremy must just have an amazing agent.

Not even a household name in his own household??

So is Jeremy in this show as a celebrity on the basis of being Mr Ireland and BB didn't even check up on it?

If that's the case then bloody hell ANYBODY really can get onto this show if they simply lie to BB and just tell them that they're a celebrity.

Doesnt being a former Mr Dublin count for anything nowadays.

This is too funny. I bet Steph will be gutted when she finds out he's not even a z lister.

They probably don't recognise him now that he's half reptilian.

I remember being surprised to see him with that title as I couldn't recall him being a Mr Ireland, I then assumed it may have been some other minor Mr Ireland, like there are several Miss Ireland's, the main one, a Miss Universe Ireland and Miss Earth Ireland. But nope he didn't win anything.

Like Jeremy is a total unknown in Ireland, Georgia Salpa and Danielle Meagher were at least on Irish TV or in the media even if unknown in the UK.

Maybe he applied to enter Mr Ireland but didn't get through.

BB's idea of a celebrity is someone, ANYONE who has slept with a celeb, is a friend of a celeb, was once married to a celeb, lost a competition where the winner went on to become a celeb, shagged on TV, has fake boobs, nails and hair and wants to marry a celeb or once splashed a celeb on the pavement as they drove by

He should be booted out, he's a fraud and a nobody. Plus he is a useless, gormless housemate anyway, only interested in a showmance.

Jeremy was also in Beauty School Cop Outs the same show that Scarlett from Gogglebox appeared in.

He was aware he was introduced as former Mr Ireland and did nothing to correct it.

He hasnt done himself any favours there and will be up to his neck in questions when he comes out

Maybe he should have gone in to the house as Mr ten inch willy instead of Mr Ireland

Has anyone in the house even questioned his "celebrity"?
Jonathan should have asked what does Jeremy actually do instead of going in on Nancy that time.

It's like that Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks film 'Catch Me If You Can'.

I don't remember anyone saying he was 'Mr Ireland'.
He's just a model, isn't he?

He's done a more effective job than Chantelle, the difference is that this isn't a task which BB itself is aware of and nobody even questioned his celebrity credentials up until now.

When Chantelle was in CBB even the celebrities questioned who she was. In this CBB it seems that even the celebrities have now accepted that the word 'celebrity' has lost its weight so much that they probably won't recognise each other as celebrities.

Has Jeremy even taken part in a TV quiz show like The Chase or Pointless?

Wasn't Marc last year also aware that he was labeled Dr. Marc, the scientist? Jeremy is a friend of Marc's.

Its funny, Marc from BB16 and Zoe Birkett from BB15 are both legitimately a lot more famous than Jeremy is and they only got on the regular series.
