I'm also not sure those "regional" titles are a thing in Mr Ireland, unlike Miss Ireland I'm not sure they run heats, more like they just select a bunch of guys and give out titles.
Given I was not even aware there was a Mr Ireland event whether or not he won it is pretty meaningless. He should up his game and start shaggin' on TV when he has an infirm relative and really put himself on the map,
