Most songs in Top 40

I remember in December (2015) Justin Bieber broke the record for most songs in the top 40 with NINE breaking Elvis Presleys record of SEVEN, I was hoping that David Bowie would have more today I believe he has FIVE in the charts. Can anyone tell me where the list for this record is as I cannot find it online? and do you think anyone will ever beat Bieber? (also I think after Michael Jackson died he had SIX songs in the charts)

MJ actually had 13 songs in the top 40 - Bieber only has the record for a living act

According to the BBC today, Bowie has 25% of the albums in the top 40.

Nineteen in the top 100.

That was the chart three days after his death - the following chart is when you get the 13 MJ tracks. The post death chart effect took place over a few weeks in his case.
