Samsung U43J5500AK smart tv and STV Player App

Hi

We have a new Samsung U43J5500AK smart tv which is great.

However we have a problem watching catch up tv through the STV player App. When we watch a program it will run till the first break for adverts, then when the program returns after the break it is back to the start of the program, it will not get past that first break, it is though it is just playing a loop.

My two sons have Amazon fire TV boxes with the same App and they do not have any problem with this App.

Any one have some ideas on how to rectify this, I am thinking it must be a setting with the TV, however I cannot find which setting if any is causing this problem.

I have E-mailed Samsung UK today asking for help on this but as yet no answer.

Anyone out there have any ideas on what this might be

Any advice would be gratefully received.

have u tried updating the firmware to see if this fixes the problem? Select Menu, System, Software Update, then Online to do this.
more likely its a fault on the STV app
