Just maybe this series is the start of a new era

CBB and BB format does need to change a little

Based on the success of this series and recent , alongside the popularity of the Uas and US format ...

Maybe

Just maybe the way ahead is a format that:

1. There is one BB authoritative voice and presence
2. BB is a disciplinarian - rewards and consequences
3. Clear warning and consequence policy
4. Clear routine and format:
Sunday - HMs vote using 1-1-1-1-1 or 3-2 or 4-1 point vote - top 3 nominated for eviction
Wednesday Eviction - 3 nominated 1 hm evicted. Remaining 2 do a face to face killer nomination each. All remaining HMs nominate 1 person for eviction - hm with most votes nominated. All 3 nominated for eviction via public vote on the Friday.

Tuesday - immortality Challenge
A challenge is set each week based on one of the seven multiple intelligences. The winner is immortal from being nominated. If they have already been nominated the are no longer eligible.

The Public Challenge
- the audience select a weekly challenge for all HMs. The choice is selected from an option of three and showcased on Thursday evenings highlights.

what do you think? Yay or ne?

I think at this point not much is really going to be done to change the show. They claim nearly every year that the next is going to be different but then they chuck us more of the same. Pointless nomination twists with very few actual rounds of nominations, way too many of those he said / she said tasks revolving around both those in the house and those outside as well. It would be nice to think that people would be listened to at this point, but each series things seem to start of well and then swiftly go down the pan.

As of now my expectations have been lowered to at least not getting a series as twisted and contrived and crap as BB16 because that really was a low point. Especially seeing as the first two weeks seemed so promising and then they had to cock it all up.

But nothing has changed. Every task is terrible and set up to cause trouble, they still fix evictions to suit their agenda, it's still the same rubbish we have been getting for the past 3 years now.

Sadly you're right, I've always stayed watching in the hope that it might get changed back to what it used to be, good tasks, proper nominations and BB keeping to the rules both ways. I have a serious feeling that this series is going to be the death knell for me for BB, am starting to care less and less about it. I'll stick with this one but am not voting any more unless David is in the final, then I'll chuck him a couple of votes, but if any of the 5 reality types win then I think I will finally be cured of my BB addiction after all these years.

To be honest I much prefer the american version. You get to see more of peoples personalities, people want to do HOH and POV tasks as it is in their interest. The gameplay is better. The tasks are way way superier to the dross we get. Yes you get aggressive moments but nothing like the stuff we get here because if you pee off your HMs they will vote you out as there is no public vote to save you and then its the ex HM's in the jury house who decide who wins.

In UK BB I have been disappointed by winners several times e.g Helen and Charlotte

But always happy with winner of BB USA or BB Australia

I would hate to see the US format. The UK show is miles and miles better than the US one. If you want to see real contrivement, repetitive tasks and poor quality editing then check out that show.

Immortal?

That would be a neat trick.
