Samsung Mini3 Battery issue.
Hello.
I finally bought a smartphone few months ago. It proceeded to empty £25 in 12 hours from my old PAYG SIM card due to 'Data' being open unbeknown to me, until a mate sorted it. New 'Unlimited' SIM now purchased. ![]() However ... Why does the battery lose 40% power overnight when everything is turned off? Data, Wi-Fi, everything. ![]() Another annoying thing - The volume seems to change levels all by itself! ![]() Can anyone advise? |

OK, it does sound as though you have an app of some sort running in the background? That would explain both the data use and the battery drain.
As for the volume thing, are you sure you are not catching the switch by accident in your pocket or whatever? If not you might have a case for returning it because the microswitch might be faulty? |

Thanks. The data issue was sorted a few months back, it was 90% Google Play Store activity, I was just mentioning that for the record.
I think you're right about the Volume switch, I didn't realise it had that volume switch on the side, pretty sure I'm touching that sometimes . I'm still trying to get used to using it as a phone! Very fiddly, and I've cut several people off accidently .
