Aliona was going to do her last Strictly this year anyway, regardless of whether had won or gone out first. She new before 2015 series started that she had done enough years and needed to move onto family and other dance ventures.
Katya Virshilas is pregnant, so she's not going to be returning in the near future. Plus she wasn't asked back previously and was replaced, so pride may stop her from returning even if asked back again.
Trent himself was just a replacement, and even if the show wanted him back he was (allegedly) only going to return if his wife was asked, but she wasn't wanted, so he (and her) became non choices.
Emma Slater had her opportunity to join Strictly and turned it down, hence why we got Anya as her quick series quick replacement, and for just one series. I suppose Strictly could ask Emma again, but I doubt she'd come if she has better US options, which atm she seems to.
Joanne would have had a 2015 celeb partner if he hadn't pulled out, so she is prob the more likely of those names that we'll see next series if still in favour with the Strictly Gods. Also Oti could get another year, given that Anthony was never going to be a contender for her.
That would then just leave one spot for a new female, providing no other females decided to move onto pastures new or one (some don't get asked back).
Mrs Gleb is a possibility, unless the BBC are really looking to get in someone of much younger blood to transition in the new generation of Strictly that will happen at some point, not just on the girls side, but the men too. Can't see Brendan wanting to be on Strictly for another 3 or four years, I think he's desperate for his own show to be such a success that he, like happened with Flavia and Vincent, can drop Strictly completely to concentrate on it totally. Natalie is now the longest serving girl (with Ola, Kristina and Aliona gone), but she has her dance excercise thingy which seems to be doing well, so one day she'll want to break from Strcitly (if isn't pushed beforehand).
There are, as you say, fish in the sea, and there will be competing pros recently out of the profession that I'm sure would jump at the opportunity to move into TV and other stage shows.
