If he was not bothered he would not keep banging on about it.

He has taken it well. If the boot was on the other foot and john would have live nommed gemma, she would spend the day in meltdown and refuse to leave her bed. Unless it was dinnertime.

They all spoke about the reception they received today, not just John. His responses were not any different.

Some people want him to be bothered... and it's frustrating that he's not.

Methinks he doth protest too much.

He is. Utterly.

But his eyes (and pointy eyebrows ) betray his protests of supposed not botheredness.

I felt embarrassed for him for the way he kept on saying that he felt liberated...

Or gone on the attack.

I don't know what people expect or want John to do, cry?

And at least he knows what's been going on and that he's hated outside. Knowing where you stand can feel better than being in a state of confusion.

I think he sort of does feel okay, I think he'll worry and analyse, but in that moment he felt okay about it, and think 'eff it', and laugh. Going home ain't the end of the world.

I'm liking him now that we've seen that Gemma and her minions are gunning for him, and showing that they are ten times more two-faced than he is.

He so is bothered.

Having said that I kind of feel sorry for him. Despite the fact that he clearly is playing a game (like a lot of them in there!) I do feel Megan's explosion at him the other day was a bit over the top, and slightly unprovoked. Had it been to anyone else, the other house mates would have stepped in and said how out of order it is. Gemma has been a bit unfair to him as well....she has a point but she is so far up her own backside it's ridiculous. To nominate someone in the way she did with the killer nomination and then do that hand gesture (where she looked like a self obsessed diva) is a bit heartless....

Have to confess to pinching that description from Megan after her drunken rant the other night.

John does have a habit of repeating every word or sentence, as referenced by other FM.

This was no different.

The reality is BB is not what is used to be. They all know what they're signing up for and John has watched the show long enough to know that this kind of reception is common practice.
