I don't think he's bothered one bit.

He's got his fee and a career outside the house.

The likes of Steph, Scotty, Meghan and Gemma have no talent and rely on reality shows.

I think he went in the house with a game plan. Which he now knows has utterly failed. So he can now say sod this and hopefully be himself. Fun loving with a sideline in snarky and bitchy.

Me too . He sure did repeat it . First banging on about being "relieved" .Then it became "liberated" , then in the dr it was "liberated" and "losing that huge knot in his belly" . The man is furious . He thought he had the whole bb thing sussed, mr expert on the panel .
I couldn't believe his conversation with darren , when darren said that when john nommed him it was like a punch to his gut. To which john jumped forward and said loudly "YES ! that is what I wanted, for you to be shaken" (or words to that effect). What a pretentious idiot assuming he could practice his amature psychology on someone as fragile as darren was at that point .

I heard on two occasions at most. It was released in a clip too, and possibly on the 'coming' up bit.

Oh please, he wasn't even UP, and he's entitled to feel pissed off or to accept it as well intentioned or not, but his dripping about it shows just how much he needed a kick, to me.

He's fine now he's loved and cared for by Gemma and Stephanie. Who he is so grateful for.

I was incredulous that he thought telling darren that was helpful . Darren was what the actual bleep !

I must say I like the poster 'chavet' s description of john's gut punch cure for darren ,

If he was that much of a player, he'd NEVER have done it. After all, 'backstabbing yer maates', is the kiss of death isn't it?

Well, the mastermind couldn't have been doing it for himself.

Or you must think he's really thick.

He is a bit of a sanctimonious arse mind, but that's not the end of the world.

If you're not bothered you don't sit around telling everyone you're not bothered.

I felt most sorry for Darren when he was in the Diary Room thanking Gemma and Stephanie for their support, how gullible is he!!

It's also very beneficial for athlete's foot, I've heard.

In all fairness, we get 45 minutes of hlighlights from 24hours.

John only spoke about this twice. Once in the kitchen, and again in the DR.

Given the reaction, you cant expect him to not have an opinion on it. If you are not bothered, you are going to say you are not bothered.

Could it be all front? Of course but I genuinely get the impression that he couldn't give a toss.

If he had said 'I'm so gutted and upset', he'd be a pussy and 'owned', on here.

If he had said 'I'm going to get her the bitch', he'd have been painted as the worst sort of terrifying bully, probably with eyebrows of death.

He knows that at the end of the day it's BB, and whilst he might be bothered, it's not ultimately some life or death thing to really get mashed about, and he'll work through it quite quickly I think.

Of course it's not nice being bitched about and hated and hearing you are some ghastly villain and the outside want you out of the house, but crying about it ain't going to help.

Trying to keep a bit of balance and a stiff upper lip about it in public is hardly some crime of the century is it?

It is, but he was doing it all from a loving, altruistic point of view don't ya know, to help Darren, a man who has climbed a mountain, and reached the top.....all without John's amateur psychology. So of course, he wasn't back stabbing. He reckoned without the others seeing through him though.

"They had nothing to gain from it..."

Really Darren? Because from what I saw one of them then looked up at the cameras, blew the audience a kiss and gave a victory pose... But yeah, generally speaking I imagine it was mostly all about caring for you.

I wouldn't say he isnt bothered. But he is far less upset than I thought he would be.
He wanted to win and he was going all out but I think over a week in there has him seeing that escaping sooner rather than later with all his cash might be preferable.

[quote=Rhumbatugger;81124005]Or gone on the attack.

I don't know what people expect or want John to do, cry?

And at least he knows what's been going on and that he's hated outside. Knowing where you stand can feel better than being in a state of confusion.

I think he sort of does feel okay, I think he'll worry and analyse, but in that moment he felt okay about it, and think 'eff it', and laugh. Going home ain't the end of the world.[/QUOTE

John really is not bothered is he? I love his attitude, the fact that he probably wants out of that mad house and only went in for the money for his mother for a care home! John is way above most of these reality stars and wannabes. At least he is a actor and a performer in his own right and a proper Celeb. The likes of Gemma from Towie, who is more fame hungry than anybody and then we have the Geordie Shore, Sex on the beach and other nobody's. This is what Celeb Big Brother has become!

He's just a total hypocrite. I've hated him since the politician guy was set up, the way he pretended to be oh-so-patient (sitting there with his pained and "deeply wounded" expression, oh-so-tolerant and oh-so-generous saying the politician could have his suitcas back. But not so forgiving or tolerant of Tiffany. And certainly not genuine when he said "I love you Gemma" in the diary room. I think this means she's moved up his hit list.he's properly unpleasant, but in any case I don't think there's one person in that I do like!
