Why are some of the pros beyond crticism on here, where as others are fair game?

Oh yes, so they have. No, it puzzles me I must admit but hey ho, it would be boring if we all thought the same.

I was watching 'Strictly moments' created by some of my favourite pro celeb couples last night

Darren and Jill's jive (Also love the training VT, Jill creasing up at Darren Genuine moments.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fd3OBFMiBHc

Karen and Mark's 'Goldeneye' Argentine Tango (Goosebumps. Karen's choreography for this was so clever, love the VT too she's one of my favourite pros. Ramps stalking the floor)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvZhbAUk8P0

Matt and Alesha's Cha Cha (Hot Watched loads of their dances!)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ39GJloOMI

Brendan and Sophie's Charleston (I'm not sure whether this was choreographed by someone else but I love Brendan dancing it with Sophie and the way he looks at her at the end The Strictly dance I want to learn above all others)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRsan_COiD0

Aljaz and Helen's Viennese Waltz (Aljaz's choreography for Helen was perfect. Loved their friendship and will watch this again and again, my favourite dance from last series.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8Fnp7DLNUA

Helen and Aljaz and Anita and Gleb were my favourite couples last series and that Viennese Waltz really was gorgeous.

Although not a surprise I wish Ola wouldn't go down this route. She was brilliant on the show, James too even if I was never really a fan of him personally and their dance style. Watching some old pro dances reminded me how good they were dancing together, I'd rather forgotten with James having been off the show a few years and their Strictly careers being overshadowed by CBB and all the tabloid stories.

Airing dirty laundry isn't edifying and I suspect most of it is old news that should stay private and in the past.

Not surprised - I thought if anyone did it, it would be James or Ola. I don't see how she's going to get around the legalities of it - if they weren't made to sign confidentiality agreements I would've thought someone else would've cashed in by now. It wont help the Jordan's popularity with the other pros if she airs their dirty laundry as well, but I suppose they don't have to work with them anymore. I expect that, as with most of these things, it will be a lot less 'explosive' than they imply.

Oh dear, that is really tacky. Ola has always been one of my favourite pros. It does seem the Jordans are determined to get their moneys worth out of their Strictly careers. The sad thing is there is no need for them to go down that route, they're both very talented dancers - they should be building on that IMO.

Apropos of nothing, does anyone think Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" would make a good song for a jive? (It's on the radio at the moment)

Pixie and Trent danced their Jive to that song. It was just a pity it was in week one as it could have been much more memorable in a later week.

Couldn't agree more about The Jordan's. I'm not surprised at them doing it tbh as I think it was on the cards with them.
Shame though as they were great on strictly before they got too big for their boots. People who bite the hand that fed them for so long and made them household names, not to mention willing to sell their colleagues and friends down the river for a bit of publicity and £££'s, are pretty low IMO.

It's a shame with James and Ola because they actually have a talent but they seem to want the career of a fading 1980's Boyband heartthrob and their glamorous side kick - which, let's face it is over subscribed anyway (and doing Strictly as a career boost is out! ).

The silly thing is, Strictly seems to be one of the shows that treats its ex pro's quite well and allows them to be associated with the brand long after they've left. Lots of the pro dances past and current do theatre tours - they may only be small venues but if Ian and Camilla can get a revue up, I don't see why they couldn't?

To be honest, I think there was probably more info in Robin's off the cuff behind the scenes recorded gossip than there will be in any book, although did find the comment about Steve Backshall interesting. Might be reading too much between the lines but it did seem to suggest there may have been something in the stories

Really bad taste and I very much doubt Ola will do any of the writing herself ... The sooner the Jordans are forgotten the better. I have some most unpleasant words in my mind for this pair who are less hardworking than dung beetles.

Both she and the hubby are as thick as shit, so no she won't be writing it herself. The Jordan's really are the most odious pair of arseholes to have ever graced Strictly.

Hope Ola has more dirt than her husband and is able to drum up more exciting revelations than "they made Aliona dye her hair once and she didn't like it", "sometimes Ola gets partners who aren't very good it's rigged" and "Bruno is annoying".

Shame they have decided to do this - but revealing dirt is a two way street and if it goes ahead then I'm sure some of the stuff that is around re them will surface

Indeed. In light of this story I took a look at their website, and the only updoming event they've got listed is a dance weekend (along with Alijaz/Janette and Ian/Natalie) in June! Whatever became of their talks with Arlene about their own show that they were touting 2 years ago?

A right pair of bottom feeding has-beens.

I really don't expect this book to actually appear and in the unlikely event that it does anything it in will either be old news, no news at all or nothing that anyone with half a brain couldn't have worked out for themselves.

Karen must be quaking in her boots at the thought of the 'truth' coming out about the bullying incident, yawn. I dread to think about the whining that they'll come out with about not getting absolute, sure fire winners as celebs every year, oh the injustice!

Sad really, I thought Ola was treated quite well when they re-hired her (when she was by her own later admission not fully recovered) after the Jump business.

.......which she should (presumably) not have been doing in the first place if she was still under contract to perform in professional routines until the end of series 12?

Not surprised at all I think this has been on the cards for a while since James left and started bad mouthing the show or being honest however you want to think of it. If I was the producers I would be glad to be shot of them and I really don't think that there will be anything that surprising in her book.

I guess it'll be publication of the book of 'revelations' followed by CBB or a stint in the jungle with bikini shower photo ops. Like you I would've thought they'd have plenty of interest in dance workshops and smaller scale shows. After a bigger payday I guess, a real shame.

Feel sorry for Steve if whatever happened is dragged in to the public domain, old news now. Having said that no Strictly news is too old for the tabloids, even though Ola wasn't on the first series they still shoehorned in a mention of Brendan/Natasha/Camilla.

I'm looking forward to Ola's factual lowdown on the judges voting tactics as promised in the article
