You are massively off topic for this thread which is supposed to be about why certain pro dancers are criticised more than others - you are using it to kick GG to death I see.

However, just to point out there have been absolutely no 'bedroom selfies' let alone a stream ... and Georgia has only just finished being on the Strictly Tour so even if she is auditioning as we speak any new project will not materialise until the Summer at the earliest.
Yes it does appear to be a genuine love story - they have made a home together and appear to spend 24/7 together - which is rather odd if they are in any way pretending to have a relationship.

Do you have any criticism of Giovanni's ability to teach dancing which got GG to the finals or are you just focussing on your pathological dislike of the pair of them which manifests itself in post after post repeating the same sort of slurs ?

You would think media coverage surrounding Giovanni and Georgia would have moved on. However it seems to be stuck in a timewarp, reporting yesterday about Strictly final night events from months ago as if it's still news, fuelled by GG's PR team and the same old cycle of their daily social media promotion of their relationship.

Why should Giovanni not be eligible for criticism on here when he continues to involve himself in the whole PR mess and seek that kind of celebrity?

I think Giovanni's media image is fine - there seems little chance of him at present wanting to end the relationship - see his latest instagrams and tweets !

They didn't need any story to get media interest yesterday - their appearance was enough as they both looked amazing !
Most of the tabloids discussed that, depending which one you want to quote, some said she was besotted with him while others said he was gazing at her adoringly.

The Daily Fail (so often quoted here by you and a couple of others) concentrated on her look and style : thus :

Regarding Giovanni's ability to teach I always wondered if Jo Clifton had far more input than we ever learnt about, particularly regarding Georgia's improvement in ballroom.

The longer serving pros were more tested by the old format where they were largely left to choreograph and teach themselves. Now there's lots of outside input with choreography and teaching so particularly with the new pros it's hard to know how much is down to them when all you see is scripted training VTs and tiny bits of edited footage on ITT.

Just to point out so that you don't continuously make the same claims - Georgia has a very good Theatrical Agent who do not do PR on any level.
They deal with acting opportunities and organise auditions etc.
While actors are in soaps that Production Team will manage a certain amount of PR not the actor's Agent - it is not their field.
So Georgia has no PR team !
I think you are confusing her Agency with the sort of PR Establishments and Managements that deal with glamour models and people from Towie etc.

Yes do criticise Giovanni if you must but Georgia was a celeb on Strictly and therefore is rather off topic in this thread..

Giovanni is fresh from competing all over Europe as a professional dancer - he discussed how he taught routines to Georgia on ITT - on the one occasion he used another choreographer he said so and thanked her also on ITT.
Georgia said that she couldn't stop watching Jo Clifton's videos - but made no mention of her making any other imput.

All style no substance sums up the whole charade pretty well yes. Hopefully Giovanni will demonstrate more professional substance in his next Strictly partnership.

Giovanni a media favourite? His name is usually just tagged with Georgia and Sean's, the only mainstream media coverage I remember about him in a professional capacity on Strictly was the Len Rumba saga.

Mark Wright, Chloe Madeley and half the cast of TOWIE are also 'media favourites' in the DM (basically anyone who is prepared to post endless photos of their personal business all over social media) - its hardly an exclusive club.

What on earth are you talking about? You seem to have forgotten the small fact that he and his partner reached the final of ...........now what was it called? Oh yes, Strictly Come Dancing!! I seem to remember that being covered pretty well in the media! Maybe you were on holiday at the time!

There are lots of interviews and articles about him which do not feature Georgia or her ex.

He may not be your cup of tea but he is generally thought to be interesting, attractive and jolly good at dancing by us less discerning men and women.

We also very much approve of how he has looked after Georgia but that is irrelevant to this thread. .

They did, and pretty much every mainstream media article during the series involved speculation about their relationship and mentioned Sean. The MSM aren't really interested in the dancing.

On your first point, doubt it, as Georgia and Giovanni were training in Manchester, not London where Jo is based. Giovanni is trained in both disciplines although he specialises in Latin. They are not exactly choreographing or training the celebs to top level competition standard in any case! Giovanni's Facebook shows that he's done quite a bit of teaching work prior to Strictly, some outside of Italy too, so i think he's OK on that front. I'm sure the pros do help each other out from time to time, we've seen it before (Anton was helping Gleb and Anita with something in some training footage, might have been the tango, I can't remember exactly).

As for your second point, I agree about seeing more training footage as in series gone by, rather than some of the silly scripted VTs we have to endure now. Some are OK but not every week.

All the other Strictly Professional Dancers post just as much on SM - if not more than GG !

It is hardly GG's fault that because of their style, age and good looks they are featured in the tabloids more regularly and are given headline status.
All the dancers pro and celeb were photographed leaving hotels, arriving at venues and walking along city streets during the Strictly Tour - you can find them all on Photo Agency web sites but unfortunately most of them looked most unappealing and were really badly dressed so the tabloids by and large choose not to use them.
When they did show all of the cast the lead couple - just like at the TRIC Awards yesterday - were GG with more photographs of them headlining the articles.

Not at all surprising as they really are both gorgeous - or strictly stunning as the Daily Fail said yesterday ... or was it the Sun with so many tabloids featuring them it is hard to remember

I'd love Strictly to go back to the original format where the pros had much more say, we got to see lots of training footage and really get to know the couples and when they walked out on to the floor it was just them, no props, dry ice or backing dancers. I know it's not going to happen though.

I really dislike all the tacky 'celebrity' around the pros now. That's one reason I'll miss Tristan, he was one of the few pros just there to teach and dance rather than seek personal fame.

Don't think that is totally true about Tristan - who I also like a lot.
He needs to earn a crust like everyone else and in his profession a certain amount of self promotion is a necessity if you want to be offered high profile work.

However I do agree with you about the way dances are now so staged - but then I used to enjoy 'Come Dancing' back in the day !

Me too. Although I also remember that the pros who took it the most seriously and were the most competitive, like Karen Hardy and Natalie (in her first series) were very 'marmite' on here to say the least and attracted plenty of criticism! Us public are a fickle bunch sometimes

I know style is subjective, but it's interesting that you think their style is why they were featured when in most photos Giovanni was wearing baggy crotched trousers and that awful blue shiny puffa jacket - although he does seem to have been prised out of it now, so good for him

I doubt that even the most ardent of us GG fans are going to rush to defend that puffa jacket but I agree with Sandy that they both did look super stylish yesterday, as did Aljaz and Janette. Even Kevin looked conservatively dapper for a change!

However I am informed that the trousers are very stylish and popular with the young men around Europe - the awful puffa (or is it puffer) jacket was more than made up for by the black coat that succeeded it and Georgia managed to look very well turned out every single day.
Which was a relief as a certain odd poncho/wooly hat combo appeared every day throughout the tour and didn't look good from day one.

I can't criticise too much as I've worn plenty of things in my time that I'd rather forget (pretty much everything I wore in the 90s probably ). I've never really got the trouser thing, but they seem to be very popular with the dancers on DWTS as well - it must just be a fashion that's passed me by.

Don't mind the drop crotch jeans and I think, as a young guy, Giovanni can pull them off (er maybe I should rephrase that!)
I have more trouble deciphering some of Kevin's ensembles, but I suppose he has a unique style...not sure what

I don't get why every dance has to have a story now ( the more twee the better), complete with, what must be, mega expensive props specially made. I can enjoy a waltz without it opening on a bench, a Charleston without a Tardis and a Jive without a shower scene etc I'm clever like that, I can cope if they just tell a story through the dance itself.

Now, if you want someone to criticise, I give you Jason Gilkison (sp?), the props, backing dancers, naff pro dances all kicked off when he joined. I've seen Burn the Floor and loved it but I'm not keen at all on his influence on SCD.
