Why are some of the pros beyond crticism on here, where as others are fair game?

Fair enough, I take that back then about GG. I haven't really followed their whereabouts in the press etc.

Those Hello/OK photo shoots are hilarious. Totally off topic , but I think my absolute favourite was a Big Brother couple Josie and John James, where she appeared to be mowing an artificial lawn and he looked like he was being savaged by a plastic flamingo. It was as good as it sounds

Thank you for the link...Kevin in the photos

I wouldn't blame them on any other holiday to get a discount but having photographers following you on the beach on your honeymoon seems rather sad. One time it really should be about the two of you and noone else.

I remember Josie and John James

And a plastic flamingo, going downhill again...

Sort of back on topic I hope Janette and Aljaz don't follow Kevin and Karen with a honeymoon photo shoot, the engagement one they did was bad enough!

Haha, I remember those two. Think they've long since split up.

I agree. They are lovely photos and nice for their fans to see I imagine but IMO your honeymoon should be a special and private time.

Again Janette & Aljaz are a lovely couple but they're everywhere I look. They're the ones who seem to represent SCD at the opening of an envelope.

Still totally love this and at a time when the pro dances were choreographed by the pros themselves. They don't make them like that anymore unfortunately.

This Rebel Yell one is widely considered to be the very best pro dance ever and I remember rewatching this on a daily basis for about a year!

Those were the days too when all of these pros had massive appreciation threads of their own. Had so many fun times up in the attic back then.

Love that dance I really don't know why they ever felt the need to employ Jason Gilkison when none of his group dances are a patch on what the pros used to choreograph themselves. This is another favourite of mine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDbA3VUgWso

Which I think was choreographed by Matt Cutler. I wonder why they didn't just get ex pros to help with choreography instead, it would also be nice to see more of them appear like Matt did.

Did you notice a few of our posts have been deleted. The LOL moment. Ask them to take a good look and they press the button. Their post is still there. I really don't get these people who can dish out, can't take it.

It's my favourite, I can never watch it just once Been humming Billy Idol all morning! I read that Nicole Cutler choreographed the dance, do you know if that's true or if it was a collaboration? I wondered if each couple choreographed their individual sections themselves.

The pro appreciation threads sound like a lot of fun, I didn't know about this forum back then

Wow, what a way to start Saturday morning So powerful and dynamic...Matt Cutler (Mr Ochre is rolling his eyes at me)

I'd love to see more of these old pros back to choreograph and star in some of the pro dances, maybe one of the big nights like Blackpool. Strictly pro stars

Taking my 6 year old to her dance classes now but going to watch some more later!

Good to see that one again. Loving the guyliner

I think the reason for starting to use the outside choreographers was because not many of the current pros have the capabilities to choreograph for a group dance. Some are fine at creating one to one pieces for their celeb but not for maybe 8 or 10 pros on a floor at the same time. Not sure if that is the actual truth though or if that is something I made up myself as the reason for it.

Also I think the pros already have a heavy workload so maybe it could have been to ease the pressure on them.

Yes it was Nicole who choreographed that one and perhaps Matthew Cutler too but not 100% whether he was involved or not. Great job by them and definitely one of the best ever pro numbers.

The appreciation threads were great. They probably still are if you are a fan of someone in particular as even now the Jay & Aliona and GG threads are well used by looks of things.
I remember back in the days of Matt and Flavia you could go for a quick bath and have 40 pages to catch up on your return Made lots of friends though who I'm still great friends with still to this day.

What a fantastic choreographer Nicole is And dancer, she and Matt's feet are a blur in their solo section Shame she didn't get a celeb partner with more potential on the show.

It's a great feeling to meet like minded friends on a fan forum when you have a passion for someone. It's actually how I met my husband funnily enough, then we discovered we lived near each other and the rest is history (Not a Strictly one.)

You've met Vincent?! I was watching one of his and Flavia's Strictly Argentine Tango's last night and a Samba they did on the show as well.

I was a big fan of Matt Cutler, do you know what he's doing now?
