*carries on regardless, the abuse heaped upon Bob, the balladeer*

Farewell to the Highlands (sung at a jaunty pace, vibrato style)

*ahem..*

My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here;
My hearts in the Highlands a chasing the Deer;
A chasing the wild Deer, and following the Roe,
My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go.
Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the North,
The birthplace of valour, the Country of worth,
Wherever I wander, wherever I rove,
The hills of the Highlands forever I love.

*bows*

I apologize. What fine silvery dulcet tones!

You don't expect dulcet tones in a pub. I am impressed.

How is all?

Good evening everyone.

*Runs screaming to the hills*
Come back. You'll miss Emmerdale.

*Grabs all remotes. Goes to the snug.*

Afternoon Eddy and all peeps. I've not bought shop cake in years. Either I makes it meself or I get home made from the farm shop or local fetes.
I'm quite a good cook but I've never tackled cakes and pastries. I tend to have Greek cakes and pastries at home, most of which I purchase from an excellent independent bakery.

You'll take what yer given......if you think I'm standing in the kitchen making cakes for you you've another think coming! *slam clatter*
Huh! Now, why doesn't that surprise me.

If you were not so busy drinking the Pub's profits, you could get yourself down to M&S or Waitrose where you will find a decent selection of cakes.

At the prices you charge, you could even afford to employ the appropriate profressional help that your kitchen desperately needs.

A G&T please. Are the drinks free tonight?

Not sure if the drinks are free Eddy, but there should be Haggis, neeps and tatties on the menu! That's if chins ever managed to round them up after they ran amok
