How's the weather today in your neck of the woods? It's 4c here & feels like 0c, I don't know if it's wet or dry I haven't opened my blinds yet.
Today, unlike yesterday, is really nice. Mild, dry and sunny. Temps approaching 10c.

What more can you ask for!! Great stuff.

Yes, the wevver is brilliant here, which is just as well since my next load of wood got delivered and I was able to stack it in the dry. If it had come yesterday both myself and the wood would have been drenched

Oink Oink!

Finally remembered to buy an Hdi cable, with the new box using a scart cable everyone looked short & dumpy. Took seconds to fit too.

It's dry here too, I think I saw a wee bit of sun earlier, it's 8c but with the wind chill it feels like 4c.

Does anyone else here struggle to make friends? I've been trying my best to make friends with new people but its quite hard. I ask about different things but sometimes it doesn't seem to go on anywhere, I don't get much back sometimes.. Also, I don't want to annoy people. Why does everything have to be so complicated, hard sometimes ? *life struggles *

Hey you..........do you mean in real life, as opposed to DS?
You just have to keep trying, some people find it difficult to be really friendly with people. Have you considered joining a club, something you're interested in, that way you're likely to find like minded people. Even joining a writing circle, you're interested in writing, you would find like minded people there too. Maybe you're trying a wee bit too hard, try to relax & get to know people slowly.

Don't worry, I mean 'real life'. I'd like to join a club yeah, it's just I only make half hearted attempts to join, either I don't reply or they don't. A writing club would be great, I'd like to be a writer, it's my dream career. 'd say I'm a bit guilty of trying too hard, I think that maybe my trouble. I'll try to be more relaxed and chilled, thanks SR.

I've never had a problem in that department Rubgy Man, but I know a few folks who struggle due to various reasons. Best advice is to make sure you wear a big smile as often as you can, it makes others feel welcome to approach you if you look cheerful. Practice small talk to non-threatening types like old folks [who often appreciate a chat] so that when with other young people, small talk comes more easily to you. If you see old peeps in the supermarket queue or at bus stops, just smile at them and say "chilly today!" or something to open the convo. Likely they will be delighted to have a few words to pass the time.

That's some good advice, I'll try it out as I'm hoping to be more social, feel and look more cheerful, positive.

I've been speaking to people online, but they seem less interested in conversing lately. They reply with a few words and drop out of the conversation sometimes. They still reply though. I try to keep it going , asking them questions, but do u think I should stop trying really?

Never stop trying RM. You do find a lot of cliques in some areas online, not in here as you say, all welcome!! But I know it exists and it's hard to break into the convo. Just keep searching for the right place to chat, folks like you are out there, there are forums on all sorts of interests you can find. All you need to do is find the like minded folk that like to chat about the same things as you and you'll be fine
