I hate badly edited books, Kindle books are bad for that!

Speaking of Kindle, I'm reading this at the moment.........
Between Two Rivers: A Story of Life, Love and Marriage from an English woman in Baghdad
Dorothy Al Khafaji

Kindle Edition
It's based from the 60's, before Iraq had all it's troubles.

Oh it's been known to be that, I can remove yer tash, chin hair or hair from yer legs.
Spoiler

How very dare you! It's there for when you punters run amok!

How about THIS

Excuse me (as I've told you time & time again), I manage my anger very well!

'Tis all character building.

You better watch yer step mister!
That sounds sounds like the sort of thing I really enjoy reading.

It's really interesting. Tho' I'm annoyed at how chauvinistic the males are!

Mr G has found my Simon’s Cat pins.

He had put them in a safe place but it wasn’t a safe place I use.

I'm sure all your "lost" things that Mr G has tidied will show up just like those pins, Gemo!

Afternoon all peeps. My old neighbour has been and mowed the lawn and trimmed my buddleia, now the garden is starting to look fab! If you don't look at the weedy overgrown borders that is

White coffee please and a cheese and tomato sandwich

It isn't the 1st time I've put something in a safe place & couldn't remember where!

Mr G did a lot of sorting for me when I couldn’t see well and one of those was sorting the bits of paper and stuff in my handbag.

One job I cursed was pairing his washed socks (all knitted by me and multi-coloured). It took forever and I got it wrong but a couple of days ago I paired his socks for the first time since my eyes were mended – I did it in an ad. break.

I do it all the time. One of the things I’ve lost recently is a bath towel.

I put my towels in a drawer, I certainly wouldn't be putting them in a safe place!

Thankies!

Having also just cleared the path of weeds, and strimmed the front garden and drive, I feel somewhat the same! I never ask the neighbour to do anything I can't easily do myself. Well, sort of easily

It was very frustrating. Photography was hit and miss and I couldn’t see the results well. I did do some Art Therapy to see what I could manage, and it was relaxing. Mr G had to sort my colours for me and I couldn’t see yellows. It was nice to see what I’d done when I got my eyes back and the first picture I did after that had several shades of yellow in it. Still can’t do it well because I am now long-sighted and I have to wait before I can get my eyes measured for prescription specs so I have loads of cheap readers and I see which power suits me best for that day.

MrG got me another one. I missed it because it was one of my only two dark bath towels that made up a wash load. I have loads of light-coloured towels.
