Mr G is usually booked for the New Year to provide music in return for a meal for two. If there’s another couple I like doing the same thing, I’ll go out with him. If not he goes out on his own and we get a meal voucher to use at a later date.
I’d rather be on my own than with company I don’t like. The place were we celebrate New Year restricts numbers so it isn’t packed so it’s not too bad.
