Evening Gemo, so a nice quiet time for you.

Just one thing.........why would you have beds around the dining table?
Think I missed out of a comma.

Panic slightly averted. Four are going to Iona tomorrow and it looks as if my daughter and is going on Saturday. It is only Friday (the day they were planning to travel) when the ferries may not be running so if we do have anyone it will just be my daughter and her husband.

I had to stop ’cos I got glittery paper for Mr G’s pressies and I had to keep breaking off to vacuum up the glitter.

Latest news on the island travellers – not going up on Thursday because of probable power cuts. My daughter now knows I’m worried about fitting the extra 4, (didn’t say when she asked but did say when I thought the danger was over) that they may not be sprung on me anyway. The storm threats seem to be dwindling dropping from 90mph gusts yesterday to 70 mph gusts today.

How much bloomin' glitter was there?

Just stock up on food, that way you'll be covered for all eventualities. What you don't eat on the day can be frozen for later.

I was getting a tad concerned that Lakeland vouchers I had ordered as a present hadn't arrived to the person they were intended for. I had ordered them on the 9th! I contacted Lakeland & they've said they'll send new vouchers out in the next day or two! Phew.

A lot and I worry about getting stuff in my eyes or the cats’.

Got a freezer full. Mr G has been fully tied up getting a magazine completed for people that keep changing their minds so not too much done. After tonight the magazine will be gone and he can start helping. If the crowd come down they will be bringing food. They would have had to take it to Iona so they’d just bring it to me instead.

Every thing I ordered arrived really quickly. I got the thing that was in danger of coming after Christmas two days ago.
