Morning twass.......oh dear *hands out a mask* Hope you feel better soon. *clunk clatter*
Good morning you lot.

Tea please. Any of that delicious smoked salmon left? I'll have 2 smoked salmon and low fat cream cheese bagels please.

Well, no gales here or snow just a little rain last night. But this morning is colder, just 2c forecast to rise to 6c. Not nice at all but all the glorious winter sunshine makes up for the fall in temperatures.

*Watches as SR loses her balance on the skating rink and ends up flying off and landing in the really huge wheely bin at the side of the Pub.*

Don't worry SR, you can rely on me, I'll come and help you as soon as I have had my breakfast.
Morning Eddy........sorry, salmon is off, you can make do with boiled eggs with soldiers. *clunk clatter*

Wot are you on about, I'm steadier than a rock on ice.........deluded eejit!

Just read Liz Smith (Royale family) has passed away, she was in her 90's, but even so, yet another added to the list of 2016!

I'm very sorry to read this. Liz Smith was quite an accomplished actress, though she will always be remembered for the Royle Family and the Vicar of Dibley. She was in so many other things, including Emmerdale Farm. Deepest sympathies to her loved ones. RIP Liz.

She was indeed an accomplished actress, & was in, as you've said, numerous other roles.

Liz Smith was a great actress. Many enjoyable memories of her various roles. 95 was a good old age though

Afternoon all. Just come back from my local shopping centre, I received a gift voucher for Clarks (they have a sale today), managed to get a pair of boots, which were originally £100 Never paid that for shoes or boots in my life! However I got them for £50 with the voucher! Whoop whoop!

*pours self large spritzer* Sluuuuuuuuuuuurp.

Cor they were a bargain! They'd be real leather at that price. I am not sure I've ever paid £50 for boots never mind a ton!! Mind you it's a few years since I bought any and they were always in sales. Half off is very decent savings

They certainly were! And yes they're they're real leather. I should bloomin' well think so at that price! I've got loads of boots, all different styles, but I love them & wear all them a lot.
I have a pair of knee length brown riding boots which I bought 3 years ago, got them on ebay & they were £20, they are the most comfortable boots I've ever had, I tried to get a black pair but they seemed to be permanently out of stock.

Good afternoon all.

Cod, scampi and large chips with mushy peas, onions rings and a few pickled onions please. Make that 2 lots as Chin is bound to want some when he gets here. And a large diet cola for me. I'm in the snug.

Well done. Nowadays 'sales' seldom mean more than 10% off, if that. And often that is only applied to items that the shops can't shift in the first place because no one wants them.

I've had a few pairs from eBay over the years, often less than £20 and been very pleased with them.....I mostly wear an old brown pair over 15 years old and two pairs of uggalikes from Primark - £3 each in their sales two years ago! Beat that

Afternoon Eddy.

No food is allowed in the snug now! The place is always left honking because of you & yer greasy smelly food!
You can eat yer meals out in the bar or the beer garden like a normal person!

Yes I know, or they pretend they're in the sale, but they're actually the same price they were before the so called sale!

Wow that's a bargain. I have pretendy Uggs too, but they're Sketchers. I wouldn't buy Uggs for ethical reasons.

Have you seen how much real Uggs cost???? And in passing, my Primani ones would pass for them. How ridiculous is that.

*waves* to Eddy as he gets huckled out the door with his bags of take out

I bought Absolutely Fabulous the Movie, the other day. I watched it last night.......OMG what a load of rubbish!
I loved AB Fab when it was on TV, I suppose it's true you should never go back. I was really disappointed with it.

That's something I've not seen, and I won't bother now! I think a lot of these things keep going when they really should stop. Loved it on TV though!

Oh, I wish I had known you were about to buy it. I asked for and received a copy of it for a birthday gift. As you said, utter rubbish, from start to finish.
