Good morning.

Cold but sunny here. 8c at present and dry for now.

Coffee please with a Danish pastry and SR said my orders are 'on the house' until I'm feeling better.

Eddy the Crook does NOT have an account here, he does NOT receive anything on credit, he does NOT have sole access to the snug! He does NOT ever, receive any 'freebies' purporting to have been authorised by myself! Any plastic tokens found in the vending machine will be from Eddy the Crook's pockets. He is to be watched constantly any time he goes near the vending machines!

You fail to point out that I assumed that my home made plastic tokens were legal tender as your vending machines never refused to take them.

That is not an unreasonable assumption on my part.

Coffee please, served with a smile in the snug.

’d affynoon.

We’ve been hearing a mysterious loud banging all day. Wandered if it was blasting, pile driving or heavy factory machinery thumping away. After asking round on FB we think we’ve found the source – the soldiers at Otterburn are playing with their guns. Otterburn is 25 miles away.

There are cliffs on the other side of the river and they can make sounds appear to come from the wrong direction. I suppose we should be thankful that there is so little other noise pollution that we can hear distant sounds. There you go. *clunk*

Good afternoon Gemo, twass.

Poor Chin.

How I like it too. I’m in a town but a small one.

It feels a bit warmer here. I don’t want inclement weather this weekend when we have to go to Manchester and back.
