Afternoon twass.
Most of ours haven’t gone beyond 15.

My how goes out too so I have it long so the weight keeps it flat.
Have most of yours been pedigree cats?
Ours is over twice that.
You live in a bloomin' mansion tho'!
*clatter* *clatter*

Would you like some clotted cream from here with your scone.
*whispers* Make sure you charge extra extra for that.

No we first got pedigrees about 20 years ago. Before that we had outdoor moggies and we had loads of them. It was actually quite hard to keep track of all their ages.

It is a tad on the large side. I think our council tax is fair and that the rise is reasonable.

*whispers* Willow and Shadow have had a wee lick of it. Still I suppose that could add to the value…

That’s not a moat – it’s the River Tweed.

Jasper is going to the vets. Theyll see if there is an obvious solution but he’s started constantly dribbling horrible, smelly poo and he is all skin and bone.

Poor wee man, it doesn't sound very promising. You have to do what's kindest for the animal (hard tho that is), they can't tell you if they're feeling rubbish.

The vet will say if better for him to be PTS........and it's the most selfless thing you can do and the last thing you can do for a much loved pet. But fingers crossed there is still something to be tried.

Not always, a lot of vets will leave the final decision to you.....they'll say we can extend their life by a few months etc., but ultimately the owner has to make that decision & make it clear that's what they want to do.
The fact he's skin & bone doesn't sound good, they deteriorate so quickly, you have to decide if their quality of life is worth keeping them going for....what - a few weeks maybe.

He’s been eating and drinking fine but I think he’s been feeling cold (and the house is warm) because he’s parked in front of the Aga all the time.

He’s gone to sleep. His purr had gone today and his purr used to be very loud.

It was very peaceful.

Then as soon as we got home Willow had a claggy eye. It was a bit mucky yesterday so we used saline. Looked fine this morning, was a bit swollen when I looked after getting back in and then when the vet looked at her the eye was totally snotty. No damage to it but she has drops to use in her bad eye.
