Ooh ta! *slurps* Still bright sun here. Such a bonus it being broad daylight at nearly 5pm! It won't be sunset til around 6 And not that long now til the clocks go forward
It's 6.00pm before it gets dark here, & it's light by 6.30am.
Good evening.

A nice brandy please.

*Turns up Pub's heating.*

I've been feeling the cold despite the lovely sunshine we've had here.

Evening Eddy, still no heating on here, I really should light the fire....got me dressing gown on over all the other layers
Hahaha I do that too. I don't really wear layers tho' as I hate feeling bundled up but putting my dressing gown on over my clothes keeps me warm & comfortable.
Hi there.

I hate wearing layers. I prefer to have the heating on, especially if someone like SR is paying for it.

You are really pushing yer luck mister!

Indeed not!

Same here, the sky is completely blue with the sun shining on the snowy/icy ground! I have to go out soon to scrape my car.

That much I will escape, since my car parking area is bathed in sunlight from dawn onwards if the sun is out like today. I just peeked out at it, nicely thawed whereas my neighbour's is parked in the shade and is still frosty!! Opened the back door to chuck some crumbs out for the birdies and the sun was warm as it flowed into the kitchen. I could have left the door open....yet I know it's really only a couple of degrees out there. Most strange!

I also just heard an owl hooting long after sun up. Must be off home to roost I guess!

Strangely enough I only had to scrape the bottom part of my windscreen.
Still snowy on the grass at the front & back but it's a gorgeous day. I was out in the car wearing just a t-shirt (& leggings).

Afternoon all.

It's the same here too. When I came home I put my jammies & dressing gown on. I make the excuse that Timo covers my clothes in ginga fur. It is true as the minute I sit down he appears from nowhere & plonks himself on my knee.

Errrrrrr, I think I'd be complaining if chinny was sitting on my knee!

Have you seen the new advert for the meerkats yet? They're so clever these ads, my insurance is due next month (I think), haven't decided if I want Batman or Superman. (obviously I'd like both)

In best Attenborough tones:

" ....and so, that shy, reclusive creature, the hoots, is seen in a rare glimpse as it forages for currant buns, before it slips away into the ether ......."

Good evening.

Who keeps lowering the heating? I'm freezing. I actually saw some sleet stuff earlier on.

I can't watch Emmerdale properly if the snug isn't hot enough.

*turns up Pub heating and grabs remotes.*

Stella please and some prawn cocktail crisps. Thank you.
