Had a fun weekend with a visit from my daughter and her husband.

… and I sent my mother a gift for Mothering Monday (the Jasper crisis made me late with things) and she rang up to say how much she liked it.

Evening Gemo. I saw my daughters previous weekends and son on the actual day!!

I think it is a first for my mother to say she liked a gift I sent. It was a planter with garden plants in it – I knew flowers or house plants would have got a “where shall I put them” response so I thought this would be appreciated.

My son sent me a message.

Mine has pre ordered me the next series of Game of Thrones as a present. Much rather have that than flowers!!

I got some lovely flowers from him a few years back but he knows that flowers wouldn’t be safe with the two hooligans.

I got a miniature rose to make the coffee table look pretty for when my daughter visited (and it’s cat safe). I has survived so far.
