I feel guilty because I think we will benefit from the budget. I hasten to add we are not very wealthy.

Hard to help peple as well because the CEOs of the large charities earn 6 figure salaries.

I met the CEO of Cats Protection last year. I could immediately see from his suit that he earned WAY too much! Personally I think it is wrong the CEO of charities should earn such ridiculous sums. Yes, they mostly do a good job etc but surely to take so much from a charity ..... how can that possibly sit well with their conscience?

I don’t like it at all. I realize they need people skilled in the monetary markets to make the charitis money grow but they should not need to take so much out it themselves because they can use those skills to make their own money grow.

Is your business classed as a small business?

That's the thing which annoys me the most with these charities, not only that, they charge prices which are more expensive for new in shops. It's a joke. People seem to be paying over the top to keep the ones at the top in comfort. They have flashy company cars too!
The only charity I ever give to is the PDSA.

Clearly in their case charity begins firmly at their doorstep!

There are very few altruistic people in the world, & certainly not when the carrot is dangled in front of their nose.......their morals then vanish into thin air............
