When playing back recorder sound is quite fuzzy, was okay before. Any help appreciated.

Okay. Are we supposed to understand what the heck you're wittering about? Are you talking about playing a recorder (the musical instrument) or was that some kind of typo that should have read as 'recorded'? If so, recorded from what, on to what, and how? Also how are you playing back.

Welcome to the forum, but as first posts asking for help goes then yours is a complete flipping mystery. Would you like to have another go and this time start with some proper information including makes and models of equipment, what you are doing, how, and why.

Well the forum members name is jymbo too, so AFAICT it could have been the ravings of a nutter.

Edit: No hits for me on Google by searching "jymbo recorder" or "jymbo" as recording devices, so still in the dark on this one. Over to you Chasing Shadows seeing as you're the expert.
