The Sun have published an article today stating various names on the producers wish list.

Gleb's wife Elena Samodanova
Swedish beauty Isabel Edvardsson
DWTS stars Emma Slater, Peta Murgatroyd and Lindsay Arnold
Australian professionals Masha Belash and Sharna Burgess (please )
World latin champion Yulia Zagoruychenko (good luck Tess.)
Brazilian salsa champion Carine Morais
Former pro Iveta Lukosiute

Obviously considering there will be 7 or 8 female professionals, I seriously doubt we will be seeing more than one or two from that list if any, but interesting nonetheless.

Isabel, Yulia and Iveta seem to me the best pick from that crop.

There is never enough Iveta. <3

I can't see any of the 4 dwts pros coming.

Peta and Sharna are probably the biggest pro dancers on the female side and Peta recently got engaged to Maks and is hardly likely to move.

Emma had the option to be on scd and picked Dwts and as she recently got back together with Sasha it is very unlikely that she will move unless there is a pro position for Sasha and scd probably have enough short male pros.

As for Lindsay she only recently became a pro on dwts after Peta's surgery and after being in the troupe for a few seasons after becoming a pro too quickly and when she was too young she did a great job but with a pro position opening up on dwts due to Allison's pregnancy I can't see tptb on dwts wanted to lose any of these pros.

I believe that Iveta left by choice and don't know how likely it is that she will want to return

I don't think at least half of the names on that list would even consider it. I think I read somewhere that the DWTS pros get paid quite a bit more than they do here too.

(Could you imagine Yulia dancing a Latin number with Anton? Maybe not She's a mesmerising dancer, I could watch her all day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjN3TrtkVy0)

I agree re: DWTS

I've been a bit obsessed with watching Yulia and Riccardo on YouTube since SCD finished. I particularly love their jives and sambas. Her dancing is spectacular - the legwork is so fast .

I hadn't seen Iveta on the show as it's my first SCD year but I watched her on SYTYCD and thought she was amazing, but also love her with Mark Benton - particularly This dance - it pleased me no end!

I am not fussy who they bring in as it will not stop me from watching the show.

I remember not liking Isabel Edvardsson much on what little I watched of the German Strictly, so I hope she doesn't turn up.

I'd love to see Iveta return. She's a great dancer and has the kind of gaudy glamour I expect from these shows.

Or "Sun publishes list of names of dancers after a journalist spends some time on the internet looking up dancers".

She most probably will return - it will end up with too many Cliftons on the show again though - I do not mind them individually - but there was a little bit of a vibe towards the end of Series 13 which did not come across well IMO.

That said I think Joanne and Kevin are very good dancers - Karen is good but I have a feeling she may be consigned to the older celebrities going forward.

I would really love to see Iveta return as she was amazing and had a great personality but it appears unlikely as she chose to leave, i believe.

even IF they did ask her (and its a big IF) I doubt she would think twice about turning it down - they are right at the top of their game atm with lots of major comps around the world so their focus is on that atm

she would be a fantastic addition to the show but only in our dreams!

IF she did consider a Strictly show I think it would be DWTS not the UK one anyway but I 100% doubt she would even consider it - at least not until her and Riccardo retire from competitive dancing

I don't mind as long as theres no Joanne. 3 Cliftons is too much but I really cant stand her 5 year old childish voice and attitude to not taking it seriously when did have a celeb dance with he had her chance with teaching a celeb didn't do anything great or give them much good content so she should be scrapped.

It's perfectly clear you really hate Joanne.

And as has been pointed out to you before, Scott had no natural rhythm, no dance capability whatsoever, and actually she did give him routines with actual content and got him the whole way to Halloween.

She's never had a chance to show what she can really do with a talented celeb except with Harry Judd on the Christmas special, and guess what happened there - she won. But of course that doesn't help your argument so you've conveniently ignored that fact.

She's a world champion and she and Natalie are the only true ballroom dancers among the female pros - she knows her stuff and takes her dancing seriously but doesn't take herself too seriously, which is a good thing.

You're perfectly entitled to dislike her if you wish, but it's complete nonsense to say she should be dumped just because she didn't get very far with a celeb who wouldn't have been able to dance no matter who taught him!
