To be honest I think they cut him out when they realised his stories what he was famous for were having no impact in the house.

They paid 600k for him, I seriously doubt they started to cut him out of the show!! He was probably their biggest name. He just wasn't contributing as much as he could because he was poorly.
He seemed genuinely ill, he looked really bad.

how do you know he didn't really want to go?
he did the same as Jonathan Cheban - couldn't be bothered to stay because it was getting a little tough and didn't really need the money and/or knew he would still be paid anyway

Because he said so, and because he was ill. That cough of his was quite a bad sounding chest infection, and the older you get the longer it takes to shift those, as I have found out.

I had no doubts at all that David was ill.........Angie however is another story...........
We heard him coughing, it sounded nasty. He isn't the type to walk, and I would like to see him go in again in the future, with at least one person he can have a laugh with.
David wasnt given the proper airtime for what he does best,, I think he got fed up and bored .. especially when the fighting kicked off... he d had enough ,his calm demeanor wasnt noticed with all that was going on and I think he knew it was bringing him down.. would bring a saint down...
