Calling her. 'Lion' and a 'tall giant' 'lion king' standing over her.

She knows the moment she says 'fat,' members of the public will hate her, and she'll be known as a woman hating body shamer.

When you just know on the outisde she'd be like 'shutup you fat bi***!'

I fear it's too late to prevent this now ....... she's just not coming across well at all.

She avoided the word fat but managed to fit in C*** unlike Tiffany who found the words Fat C*** - I thought it rather apt. Nothing like cutting to the chase.

I didn't understand the "Lion" reference? Presumably it's not to do with weight, as there are plenty of more rotund animals she could have used. The only thing I can relate from Gemma to lions might be her big hair, being likened to a mane?

I imagine it's not to do with Gemma's majestic, beautiful and stealthy nature.

That's so crass! Why can't young women just call each other oversized vaginas?

The whole name calling thing is so petty and childish but then Steph's behaviour has been petty and childish throughout the whole debacle

It's widely known that when people have no just argument and are incapable of defending their actions because they know they are in the wrong, then name calling is their only course of action and therefore they have lost the debate/argument.

Exactly, if she was looking to avoid the word fat, hippo might have been more appropriate. Maybe the the lion thing is that she sees Gemma as too fierce for her?

How clever do you have to be to not call someone fat? Maybe she could take over from Stephen Fry when he leaves QI.

Isn't it a good thing if she is. I'm no Steph fan (nor Gemma for that matter) but isn't it better that she at least has to common sense to know it's not an acceptable thing to throw at someone.

Regardless of not holding back on the C word...she was angry and still didn't use that remark...one positive we can take from Steph yesterday

Didn't she also accuse Gemma of being a 1000 ft tall as well I actually think it was more than just her trying to find 100 other words for fat, I think it was a little bit sinister as well. I felt that she was intimating bullying by exaggerating Gemma's physical presence and saying she was leaning over her.

Tiff the only one with the balls to say it.

It doesn't take balls to call someone a name

Just a burst of anger or a vile personality

I don't like Gemma or Steph but name calling is stupid

Gemma = medically obese by the looks of things. But of course obeseity is an illness or a syndrome or something like that, no one is fat because they eat too much any more.

You can see Steph restraining herself from using the word fat when she melts down in the DR and in the Padded bedroom they put her in

Amazing to me that we live in a society where it's acceptable to call someone a C___ , but not to call them fat.

Political correctness = insanity.

We could give her the benefit of the doubt and presume she doesn't actually care whether someones overweight or not... Just whether she thinks they're a lion headed c***.
