iPhone: Developer Program Allows Users to Remove Default Apps From Device

This is intruiging. Apparently it's possible with iOS 9.3

What has actually happened is that Apple are allowing anyone (not just developers) to install 9.3 if they sign up to the "Beta program" and install a special "configuration profile" on their handset.

This "configuration profile" says it changes "Internal settings" - ie. the ability to download beta IOS versions in Apple's case - and people are obviously trying to see what else these profiles can be made to do!

They have probably existed for some time - but Apple has made their existence much more public!
