Gemma The Type Of Housemate You Just Love To Hate
I've never watched Towie and am not a fan, but I don't think she's as awful as many around here like to make out. I like her as a HM and hope she stays until the end.

I don't know as I have never watched it.
She's the sort of HM that I laugh at, not with. I don't hate her though, I just find her thick and unappealing,
I prefer Gemma to John to be honest. At least she's not being manipulative about things, she's just a bit of a wind up and everyone can see that she's blatantly doing in front of them. John is snidey and mind f**ks people, don't like that at all !

She's very manipulative. She has been trying to make people do things her way from day 1.
Totally agree. She is a "monster" but she's good at it. Makes for good BB. She don't need to win, I don't want her to win, but I like her being in there.

I think she is makes the show worse. I'm not getting what is so entertaining about her. If i want to watch people like Gemma, i'll watch TOWIE.
She isn't in TOWIE anymore I think they sacked her or maybe they reinstated her

She made me laugh at first because i thought she was a character with a few redeeming features. Turns out she has none, so i just really dislike her
There is no love in the equation, just hate. Gemmaphant is far too affected and obscene in her ministrations for me to enjoy her stirring. That haughty bag of wind needs to go.

I have seen Towie when it was first on but after 3 episodes couldn't hack it + never watched Geordie Shore but do read the papers and sometimes it's impossible not to know who Gemma or GC or whoever she is and she allways seems a rotten, nasty, bossy biatch. Watching this years cbb hasn't changed my oplinion of her!!!!! Horrible person!!!
If Gemma hadn't found fame through TOWIE she would be one of those shouting abuse in the crowd on an eviction night.

I don't think there has been a housemate quite like Gemma,
Its not the fact that she is performing for the camera, Its more that she is so open about the fact that she is performing for the camera. As well as pretty much admitting this to housemates, there have been plenty of examples of her slipping out of character on camera too.
I'm not sure if its part of her plan, or if she's too thick to realise that even when you play up for the cameras you aren't supposed to let on that this is what you are doing!?
