The majority of the race is on Motors TV.

Annoyingly (), despite the fact that the Practice sessions are filmed (Albeit probably without commentary by the TV team of John Hindhaugh & Graham Goodwin), they don't put a stream of it on the website/app. Even without commentary it would be cool to have it there.

I recall being told that the cameras weren't on during practice sessions in the WEC 6h races. They are on at Le Mans.

But this proves me wrong somewhat... (I don't think this is from the TV cameras though) from 2015:

Just watched Canal+'s onboard show and thought they were using more cameras that usual, but did notice the real lack of radio. In the whole 30 minutes I heard about 4 bursts of radio chatter. Vettel was still censored by FOM, but was translated into French subs with a lot of 'p.....' In places where 'Censored by FOM' would have been more appropriate! Sometimes self censoring can be a good thing too.

There are at least 10 onboard angles available of the Russian GP start: Hamilton, Vettel, Kvyat, Ricciardo, Alonso, Magnussen, Palmer, Haryanto, Gutierrez and Hulkenberg - I guess that's a new record for FOM...
The Canal+ OnBoard highlights program also showed Raikkonen's OnBoard for the start.

Obviously FOM have definitely increased the amount of onboards that can be received at one time, do we know if it's the whole field as predicted over the winter?

They were on at Silverstone, cos Ben Constanduros tweeted a picture of the snow from the TV feed during one of the FP sessions.

Agree 100%, Daniil scored a podium in the last but one race. Frankly i'm surprised Red Bull aren't glad that he at least took one of their main championship rivals out of contention for points in Russia....

I agree, I think this just points to the fact that they want Max to stay when his contract is up at the end of the season and they need him to prove that he is ready to step up, as Daniil didn't look ready for the jump.

OI....Y'all are taking the piste now aren'tcha?

Anyways... Thanks for the WEC broadcast times and to HH for posting the IMSA vids.

Get the feeling that this Verstappen move was more about stopping teams fishing him in 2017 than anything else. But it could be the big break out for the kid.
As they say in Russian...."Ni Pukha, Ni Pyera!"

Unsurprisingly, yes. And Verstappen I believe had a contract with Red Bull as a whole (including Toro Rosso) for the next few years anyway.

Contrarily, I still think Marko (and the Red Bull program as a whole) is over-harsh on their drivers...

Arguably it wasn't anything to do with Russia but just to stop Verstappen signing on for someone else next season.

Bet they're glad the Russian GP is so early this season. Mr Putin won't be happy!

Sadly, I fear this could be the beginning of the end of Kvyat's F1 career.

I suppose that means Sky's (UK) satellite feed from the track will now be relegated to a backup (if they weren't already using a non-satellite source anyway).
