If he's bored, he should stop commentating for good. I won't miss him anymore. His commentary has been sub-par for several years now. IMO he should have quit when the rights went to Sky. His views as a driver who hasn't raced in a top-tier open-wheel series for 20 years now are totally irrelevant...
OOOFFF!!! Don't hold back FOM Fan, lovin' yer work!

Along with the cricket, Rugby and football, plus the WEC and British GT.
Oh the wec on eurosport today is bikes, not cars, forget that then.
Watched about fifteen mins, woah is'nt bikes so tediously dull as a motorsport.
When I searched this morning with sky+ it had cars in the image so thought wec 'lemans' racing championship, ooops!

Le Mans 24h is from next Wednesday until Sunday afternoon of course.
http://www.lemans.org/en/24-hours-of-le-mans/ The mini sessions timetable is on the right on a computer screen. Also http://tv.eurosport.co.uk/tvschedule.shtml

P.S. Don't knock bikes, the action can be truly breathtaking, as well as incredibly dangerous.

Endurance racing no matter how many wheels is never that thrilling to watch for more than a few minutes at a time.

Looks like Sky have asked Vandoorne to join them for their race coverage tomorrow.

Hill and Herbert for the grid walks then....

EDIT: Unsurprisingly it's Paul Di Resta on co-commentary duties this weekend as confirmed by Crofty:

Unlikely Hill is in Canada. He was tweeting from the Isle of Wight festival yesterday where his son's band was playing.

That will be good, with Hill somewhere else and no Brundle it good to get a guest in for the day.

Sky Race Control, red button, option 7 - I'm sure that wasn't meant for broadcast

Sky Studios test card with an Alan Partridge soundalike engineer checking levels shouting "Goal, Goal, Goal!! -0dB indicated?, will try with limiter on. Goal!!! Goal!!" Now showing placeholder for Catalan Dragons v St Helens...

Oh dear. I can't even access Race Control at the moment. Just seeing an "Interactive services are not available" message.

Great planning to have the qualifying clash with the football.

Clearly testing mics in an offtube booth as Sky usually do the Catalan Dragons games offtube.

It feels like FOM are more reluctant these days to move the timings around football compared to 5/10 years ago.

Having qualifying and the race start at 18:30 UK would surely have been more preferred.

I disagree, although I have to say only the 24h of Le Mans is the only 24h race I can watch non-stop. I think that's cos the track is so interesting.

You can't win with an event that's broadcast all over the world though... You schedule things to please 1 country, you'll piss off the rest..

Should have dropped it back 30 mins to avoid the clash with the Cricket but not too late as that would clash with Baseball.

I'm disgusted, there's a rounders match on in the school nearby I wanted to watch, but now the F1's clashed so they can't. Typical FOM there... It's a ****ing disgrace.

Use to ride meaty bikes when I were a lad, but grew up and moved to 4 wheels, I wanted to live!
Never really found bikes ever a good tv spectator sport, except sidecars, now they are great to watch.
Cant say watching anything dangerous ever inspires me to watch.

Sky sports news mentioned that Brundle will be at Le Mans from next week and will not be in Canada this weekend, not ill as someone had mentioned. perhaps it was a planned medical visit.
Is he back racing then, not sure he has done much for a while.
Hoping its herbert more.
Do find di resta is ok but he waffles too much for me. Mind hes not doing too bad a job in qualy.

Glad i wasn't alone in noticing the mess up of Sky Race Control!
Some options not working and then some 'hidden'

I do like the angle on Grosjean's car, looks great when he's skimming the walls.

Sky coverage was terrible today. Why do they have to have interviews during qualifying sessions.

What are you dribbling on about? Is common sense to avoid a clash with one of the most watched sporting events in the world.

Why are you being an FOMFan as well? Euro 2016 is a series of the most watched sporting events on the planet, just shift the qualifying one hour and avoid the clash. Simples.
