"So many breaks" - True against BBC, not so bad compared to the old days of ITV - at least the breaks were all pretty short by modern standards. Agree first break was quite early, after the first lap replays, but probably made sense as an edit point.
Your last sentence is a bit of an exaggeration - at midnight they were well over half way and the race finished on the highlights at 12.12AM (know because I texted a mate at the time).

Thought the way he rejoined the circuit was dangerous, but that was entirely down to Rosberg himself.
