its one of those incidents where if you explained to someone who hadnt seen it how they dealt with it and what they were doing, they wouldnt believe you, they handle car fires in club races better than that. not surprised Ted was getting annoyed, the FIA stewards should be getting annoyed but theres been nothing said yet at all, and they took a stupid age to red flag the practice.
the mechanics clearly arent given any fire training at all, as they were just in car preservation mode, and putting themselves in ridiculous amount of personal danger, even before connecting a fuel bowser to the car on fire, which might seem a good idea to remove the fuel causing the fire, but that could so easily have gone up as well, the Williams fire in 2012 showed you only need a spark to light fuel vapour.
