FOM rule #1 : the garage shots are more important than the actual racing.

Ohhh. Maybe that's what happened to me. I knew I'd meant to record the GP2/3 and when those showed up I figured I'd set a series link up, maybe I didn't. Unfortunately I can't be certain what happened.

@lettice - thanks for alerting Sky.

For those that do not have Sky Q.
Took a few shots today of the Sky 2tb box during the qualy with the race control and split screen.

Sky Q 1 of 2

Sky Q 2 of 2

Were only two onboards and mix onboard on Sky Q race control. But the iPad race control had four onboards, mix and quad.

And the F1 website (with a higher video bitrate, if you're into that sort of thing)

Thank you for these screenshots.

Have to say, it does look very good. Now, excuse me while I try and enter every single competition offering Sky Q. Wish me luck.

Dude, this is FOM we're talking about! They have an obsession with celeb shots and crowd shots when the racing is happening and other random bollocks.
For them, its like asking a man with no legs to sprint the 100m faster than Usain Bolt!

FOM had quick post-race interviews in the pit lane with the GP2/3 champions as part of the world feed. Neither driver finished in the top-three in the races they secured the championship in. Not sure who was doing the interview.

Lee McKenzie doing the track parade interviews. Very weird hearing Simon introduce McKenzie.

Noel Clarke CGI-ing himself into Lewis & Nico's year in the opening montage. Who knew he was a fan?

So how many times will we see Roger Federer appear on the World Feed during the race?

Channel 4 absolutely smashing it this weekend.

Great to see the official track parade interviews for once!
Lovely that McLaren held a guard of honour for Jenson...

BBC Online updates don't seem to be working, should automatically update, even when I refresh manually it's not updating.

What a horrible line cross angle/shot. All sponsor show, forget the cars.

Absolute arrogance from Lewis. And even without HAM's reliability issues in the season, Rosberg would still be ahead going into Abu Dhabi. "If i'm not winning them no-one from my team is" is bascially what he said.

So the two retirements Hamilton had wouldn't have gained him ATLEAST 6 points to win? Okay....

Say what you like about Hamilton but that was a far more interesting title decider than if he drove into the distance, Rosberg cruised around in second in acres of free space and the race was a tedious precession. That was much more of an event. That was worthy of a title decider, which I really worried it wouldn't be.

Ahhh I see i was relying on incorrect stats, my fault. Even so, Hamilton's radio message was arrogant.

Yes it was brilliantly tense. The constructors was already settled, so Hamilton choosing to win at the slowest possible speed was legitimate in my view. Reverse the roles and surely Rosberg would think to try the same?

As per the last few races though, all of the cuts to the garages added absolutely nothing of interest.

Indeed and I thought that Mercedes would just let them race.

I also that the direction from FOM showed far too much off track, it would have been funny if they missed a title deciding move.
