Not a good image when the trackside punters have their hands in their ears as the cars go past... I value my hearing tbh.

Craig Slater grabbed a few words with Bernie about qualifying for SSN:

They just showed that on the sky build up, oh dear!
Bit calmer from Bernie was Ted's interview on Friday at the bottom of this article.

Has the man actually gone senile or is this just 'classic Bernie'?
Either way, the sport has become incomprehensibly ****ing stupid. I don't understand the total resistance to revert to a qualifying format that was tried, tested and liked by all.

They loved it back then, and quietly reminisce about it now.

Buy some 3M ear plugs from Boots or some 3M Peltor ear defenders from Screwfix.

Current power units sound like Dysons. Of course F1's recent troubles aren't due the engine spec. but engine parity.

Great intro by Channel 4 with Murray Walker! Really beautiful...

Planning to watch C4 then switch over to Sky commentary for the race.

I turned over at 15:01 and seemed to have missed most of the intro!

Channel 4 switching between two teams of pundits is certainly interesting. Impressed so far by their coverage so far.

Not sure on the Steve Jones to Susie Wolff calling Toto sexy patter.

I suspect BT sport would have been interested.
Doubt it, not high profile enough to get new subscribers...especially to dedicate a whole Sunday afternoon for it.

Channel 4 are so refreshing after watching Sky. Classy and insightful. If there's any positive from Sky's new deal, hopefully from 2019 we can have the best of both working for one channel, Coulthard and Webber especially. Although I wouldn't object to Sky refreshing their output well before that.

BT Sport do have V8 Supercars live for early morning weekend schedule filler.

Exactly....and at a time very little else will be shown....not prime Sunday afternoon time.

I don't see the point of her being there. Lee would have been better as the main presenter if it's just a case of wanting a female face.

Could have done with a second camera operator on Channel 4.

I quite like the frenetic 'one-shot' nature of the grid walk, otherwise it just seems like another set of interviews.

I wish Steve Jones would stop calling Installation Laps as 'Circuit laps'...

Her insight has been superb. So its not just some female face.

Thing that makes F1 boring to me is. Rosberg is going to get away and be untouched now and end up 1st. It shouldn't be like this.

Id love to be proven wrong though and Bottas can maybe drive into him too?

Finally team radio auto plays on the iPhone app when you delay it. Never has done before.
