I like to do beans like this.

Just about every Saturday morning I love making myself a traditional fry up, but when I do my beans I like them done a bit different. First I finely chop half a small onion, then slice about 3 cherry tomatoes. These are then lightly fried in olive oil and butter. To that I add a dash of Worcestershire sauce, some chilli flakes, some ketchup, and Cayenne ( I love spicy food). Finally add my beans, warm up adding a few drops of water to thin it out and serve. I love it, is that wrong?

It's not wrong. Sounds great.
Don't usually have beans with my fry up, (grilled tomato) but may well try your recipe 👍

Cheers, sometimes instead of adding the cherry tomatoes I will have grilled tomatoes on the side, I just find beans done straight out of the tin sooo bland and boring, they definitely need some sort of kick!

I've long added a good pinch of either chilli powder or curry powder or paprika or cumin or garam masala - on toast though, not in a straight breakfast (a full Welsh )

The only way to have baked beans with a fry up is to cook them in the frying pan in the bacon fat........

Sounds nice and very unhealthy but don't the beans end up quite stodgy ( I think that's the right word)?

They do sound nice but I wouldn't fancy them with a fry up. They'd probably be nice with sausage and chips or a jacket potato.

You don't say what type of beans you are using, I'm guessing baked beans?

The way I mainly eat baked beans nowadays is to have them instead of rice with a curry

I tend to make oily veg curries with no liquid, so basically just veg fried in oil and curry powder and before serving I'll just stir in a tin of baked beans and warm that through for a couple of minutes........just serve without rice

No they are not Heinz are awful, too sweet. Others are too watery, some have small tasteless beans in them etc.
Crosse and Blackwell are my favourites.

My way is very simple and intensifies the taste of the sauce.
Heinz beans in the oven with a lid on, bake for around 30 mins, good bing it a stir halfway through.

I refuse to put the oven on for baked beans.
Microwave 3 minutes, dash of Worcestershire sauce and white pepper. Perfect.
Or, cold, straight out of the tin, yum.

I normally do sausages at the same time, in the oven. Nice and uniformly golden brown all over.

I don't buy beans very often, but when I do I always add a bit of chilli or cayenne and anything else that will complement them. I can't just have beans on their own, too boring,

No-oooo. Aldi baked beans are the only ones worth considering, but a dollop of tikka masala curry sauce does perk them up if you want a bit of a change.
